Easy walk to the Citadelle, even the Plains of Abraham, or in the other direction toward Old Quebec City, or the Petit Seminaire de Quebec, where I believe Benedict Arnold and the Americans were imprisoned (the old monastery) after their losing attack, having come up...More
A cosy and lovely place perfect location, clean but need a touch of renovation and modernization without taking out his different cachet giving this auberge his unique image, bad wifi in rooms, too much noisy floor, i think as said before a little modernisation touch...More

We stayed at Auberge La Chouette for 3 night post cruise. My husband booked this hotel so I really was worried if I would like it, but when my husband and I arrived, we were delighted. The front of the hotel is quaint and lovely....More
Excellent location. Across the street from a nice park. Room was quite large and had lots of character. Washroom was renovated. Breakfast was continental. Liked the homemade muffins and strawberries. Very reasonably priced considering the location. Friendly staff.
Parking is at a nearby hotel, only minutes by foot but a longer way round by car due to the one-way systems. There is very little room in the car park but it was safe. Not sure how much it cost between $12 and $15 I think... More

Not sure how much it cost between $12 and $15 I think. I think the hotel was called the Petit Hotel but I may have remembered this wrong.

There is some parking on the street but Le Petit Hotel is a good place to park and not far away. You turn right immediately after coming out of the hotel and down a small street that is the distance of the length of the hotel and another behind, cross the road and Le Petit Hotel is the second down on the right. The parking lot is just below the hotel. These hotels are small, boutique type. If you can arrange parking at Le Petit Hotel before hand it may be the best way to go. As others have said there isn't a lot of parking, but the staff at the hotel are very helpful and will give you the best advice. We had no problems and were there at a relatively busy time. Once you're parked you'll probably spend your days walking through Old Quebec City, it is a close knit area and easy to get around on foot.
