This was a really nice hotel, perfect for visiting Quebec's Old City. The room was a little small for a deluxe room with Queen bed and a little sparsely furnished. That said however the staff, in general, could not have been more helpful or polite. Perhaps the breakfast lady could have been a little bit less enthusiastic in overseeing absolutely... More

The hotel is perfectly located in old Quebec region near to restaurants and shopping areas. There are also places of attraction nearby. Very easy and within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay, the staffs were really helpful and kind.. We will come back for sure...

We stayed here and will stay here on our next visit to Quebec City. The location is great for easy walking of the old city and great restaurants. The rooms very clean and comfortable. Remember, this is a very old building full of charm so don't expect a new building but that is what gives the charm. We had friends... More

We like small hotels in quaint parts of town and Manoir de L'Esplanade fit this. It's a small hotel by the gate in the Old City section of Quebec City. We got there in the early evening and were greeted by a quiet young man who helped us get checked in, answered our questions and recommended places to eat. There... More

Loved the location! Easy walk to all the "must sees" in Quebec - and close to really good restaurants! The breakfasts were delicious, and the lady who was in charge of the breakfast area was attentive and delightful. Our room was on the first floor, facing the street, but with the double windows and shutters, noise was never a problem... More

Manoir de L'Esplanade is a quaint hotel in a very old building in Quebec City. It could not be more conveniently located right on the edge of the old city next to the Citadel. It appears to be a family run hotel and the attentiveness of the staff and management is second to none. The room was comfortable, clean and... More

Stayed here end of September and really enjoyed it. We had a deluxe queen room on first floor facing the street. The room was quite small, but you don't stay in Old Quebec to stay in your room, so it didnt bother us. I was nervous that it would be loud given the location and being close to stairs and... More

Lovely little place that has an international staff - all friendly smiling and helpful. We originally booked 3 nights, I called asking for an earlier arrival and although it was a bit of an event they accommodated us. So - we spent the first night in a smaller room with a double bed on the main floor, next 3 were... More

The people at this hotel were very nice and pleasant, room was large. Had an elevator which made it very easy for your luggage. Breakfast was good, had a pancake machine fresh fruit and croisants etc. Just make sure you ask for a room not facing the arch to come into Old Quebec. The street washers come at 6:00 and are... I was concerned initially about the corner location located on Rue St. Louis, the main route to Chateau Frontenac ... but given the walls are 100s of years old built from solid foot-and-a-half thick stone - - we could not hear anything. Super quiet. Also the quaint french colonial shutters and windows actually open which was WONDERFUL on a mid-September... More
