We wanted to stay there for 2 nights, but decided to stay another night. Robert and Josée the best hosts you can imagine. Very friendly and kind. The rooms are very clean, breakfast is great and it's just a 10 minute walk from the city center. Best value for money there is.

Went with a friend, first time visiting Quebec. I suggested the Couette & Cafe. Most friendly and charming place I ever stayed. Mr Robert Bertrand, the owner, most interested man, he will tell you the history about Quebec and where to go and what to see. Josee, the helper comes every day at 8 o'clock. serving breakfast to your liking...

My boyfriend and I (both mid 20s) took a quick trip to Quebec City after Christmas but before New Years. We wanted a more personal stay as opposed to a chain or large occupancy hotel, and we got exactly that with Robert at B&B Couette et Café. We were worried about the location because everyone had told us to find...

We arrived after sunset, which made it slightly more difficult to find the entrance, which is right next to a store that sells just Quebecois locally made items. Thankfully there is parking provided across the street, but it is open air so don't leave anything valuable in your car. We didn't have any issues though since the neighborhood seems to...

The owner, Mr. Bertrand, made my experience in Quebec a fun and rewarding time. From greeting me by welcoming me "home", always providing tourist suggestions and directions, to engaging in great conversation about Quebec history, Mr. Bertrand was always helpful (and was always there when I left in the morning and returned in the evening). The breakfast was superb and...

I stayed for 6 nights and have only good things to say about this wonderful B&B. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the owner was delightful and helpful. Because I stayed for more than 4 nights he provided free parking, which was very useful. The breakfasts were hearty, so I saved money on lunch! The atmosphere was very...

Staying in this Bed and Breakfast is comfortable and affordable. It has a homely atmosphere as we were greeted by the friendly owner, a truely proud Québecois. Beside French he speaks fluent English so communication was no problem. Explaining us the main attractions of Québec City and just 15 minutes walk from the historic city center. The room was spacious...

“We had a room in a back corner (with plaid walls?) and it was very quiet and cozy. He does have a couple rooms off of the kitchen, and I would imagine that in those rooms you might get some carried over noise from people using the shared space. If you have the opportunity, it might be worth asking for a room that isn't off the kitchen.”
