Easy to pass by. Unassuming reception but the rooms and decor are sumptuous, welcoming and comfortable. No nonsense service. Room service breakfast a little disappointing but we've had worse in Paris (France). Their well patronised restaurant is a French tapas concoction. Their chef is creative and dedicated to innovation. Okay if you are ready for hors piste in the dining...

My wife & I stay here every time we visit Quebec as it offers everything you need in a great hotel: excellent location, friendly staff, beautiful design and all the little things that add that extra flair like breakfast delivered to the room daily & little chocolate treats in the room upon arrival. Can't speak highly enough of this place!

Loved this beautiful hotel - would definitely stay again! From the free breakfast delivered in the morning to the fabulous places to walk nearby - this is a great choice! Also we ran the Quebec City Marathon and the finish shoot was just outside the front of the hotel! Perfect location for the race! Really enjoyed staying here for a...

Wonderful stay. The location was perfect--a short walk from the train station and across the street from the farmers market. Furthermore the Cyclo Services bike rental was right down the street. The room was updated with a nice view of the pocket park out front. If I had to do over would have had the continental breakfast delivered to room...

DearNewGator, Thank you for the review. We are glad to read you had such a good time in Quebec City. Even if the Old Quebec City is walkable, biking could be a great experience to discover the countryside. The Ecolocyclo is a great bike rental company. They have bikes for everybody, from tandems to electric bikes! But they also organize...

We stayed at the Hotel des Coutellier for three nights in August. Our room was great; comfortable bed, spacious room with a couch and lounge chair plus a desk, and large bathroom with shelves for your toiletries. Air conditioning was perfect, quiet and cool for a rare hot spell in Quebec. Early each morning an insulated bag was delivered outside...

First time for my wife in Quebec city. This hotel is a wonderful small friendly place with great staff who will do what is necessary to make your stay perfect. Coming from Vancouver and spending many weekends in Whistler I understand that living in the village is not all it is cracked up to be. This is a short stroll...

The front-desk staff were, without exception, friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. We liked the freedom that having breakfast in the room gave us. The fresh lemonade and cookies available from reception during the day were appreciated. Great location for exploring the old City. The Market opposite is worth visiting.

I stayed on May 2015 with my family, though it is a very romantic hotel. Great location. Just one block from the train station, and it is located just between Quebec's old city and the modern part, so it is very close to supermarkets and low budget restaurants, and very close to everything in the old city. Breakfast is served...
