Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Hotel was clean. Room was great - spacious, clean, our own private entrance - spectacular! Breakfast was cooked to order, and delicious. We arrived late (flight from NY) and staff had someone waiting up to check us in, etc. Hotel owner himself would serve breakfast, and would give us detailed suggestions for where we...

We stayed 3 nights in this excellent little B&B. The service provided by Charles and Julie was perfect - help with arranging sightseeing, taxis, onward hotel arrangements, early breakfasts etc was above and beyond. The room itself (No.2) was very good - plenty of space, everything clean, tastefully decorated and modern bathroom with wonderful rainshower. The bed was very comfortable...

My husband had always wanted to take a trip to quebec city and after reading some reviews on tripadvisor, i decided to book at room at this hotel. we were lucky enough to get the last room on a very busy holiday weekend. We found Charles to be so helpful. he mapped out the city for us, asked us what...

What a very special place this is! Claude, his wife and his staff have created a totally charming and comfortable auberge in an old printing shop. Charles at the desk was delightful. Claude could not have been more charming or helpful to us. We were a group of 12 -- not easily accommodated by a small inn, but each of...

What a fantastic place to stay and so convenient for seeing Quebec old and new mostly on foot. Lovely Park across the way a little further up. Cheap it ain't but what you get is a personal service from Claude, the proprietor and his wonderful staff. Can't beat it. Claude felt like a real friend when we left. Breakfast was...

We stayed here two nights, and cannot say enough about how "special" our stay was. It was like being at home in Quebec. Claude and Charles were fantastic hosts, gave us great recommendations for walking tours and restaurants. The room was great and the breakfast...was served to order and probably the best we have ever had. Credit needs to go...

We stayed here following a family wedding in the old city as we fancied a change from all the tourist places and we had a pleasant surprise. I did pick it after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and most were good but realistic. Service is good and the rooms are modern and clean. But more than anything the team provide an...

This is a wonderful hotel, a little quirky and lots of stairs to climb but the hospitality is wonderful and the breakfasts are truly superb. Nothing is too much trouble for the host, good locality but ask about the lift that takes some of the walking out of getting up to the city. This place is a real find and...

i decided to surprise my boyfriend and take him to this hotel and it was just lovely. the location is a little odd, parking was a bit weird (just so you know!!) but the room itself was really cozy, bed super comfortable, and it felt like we were the only ones there. i'm sure it is a busy place as...
