My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay at Auberge Le Vincent where we were treated like family. Claude, the owner and manager, and his wonderful staff pampered us like VIPs and made us feel right at home on our visit to Quebec City. When we arrived, the evening manager (Gilles?) kindly helped us with our bags, helped...

I really enjoyed my stay at Le Vincent. As people have already stated it is the staff that really make this place. Always at the ready with ideas for you to fill your day any any information you could want. You start the day with a beautiful breakfast and get to retire to a great room at the end of...

Wonderful place to stay. I was a little worried about street noise when we got there but we didn't hear anything. We had Rooms 1 and 8. Room 1 was fantastic but Room 8 was a little offputting as the shower was part of the bedroom with a clear glass door. Since we were sharing the room with our teenage...

We stayed in room 1 of the Auberge, located just off the main lobby and breakfast area. As the other reviews note, the employees were wonderful - not just Claude and his wife, but all of them. They are happy to answer questions or just talk about life in Quebec City. The main detractor is indeed the location. We actually...

It's all about Claude and his wife. The small staff is great, but Claude is the spark plug. His hotel excels in many phases - interesting, comfortable rooms, outstanding breakfasts and joyful advice. This 10 room gem is on the fringe of the tourist area and convenient to the many local restaurants you will savor if you follow Claude's advise...

My friends and I rode the train from Montreal for an overnight and day of sightseeing in QC. If you're a walker, Auberge Le Vincent is perfectly situated as you can walk to/from the train, walk to the old town and the port, and explore the dynamic San Roch area. The rooms are quiet, clean, and extremely comfortable with an...

Don't give this great hotel a second thought, you'll not find a more hospitable staff nor cleaner accommodations in Quebec city. Location?? It's perfect. No not in the middle of the chaotic old town, but easy walking distance to everything. We spent 3 nights here and loved it. The owner Claude, and his staff were the best. Charles is a...

We spent a couple of days at this hotel and used it as a base to explore the old town (not that far away) and the newly developed artists area which is very close by. The staff were superb and gave great advice for walking tours of the city.

I think at one point this hotel was probably priced right, was written up in Frommer's, and under high demand. As such, the rates went up. The hotel is nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. And, yes, the breakfasts are excellent. However, this hotel is so far from the old part part of town, we felt the...

We were initially skeptical at check-in because of the location, but our skepticism was quickly dispelled as we realized we were close to Rue St.. Jean, a wonderful strolling, dining, people-watching street. The hotel itself was perfect. The amenities were everything we would ask for in a hotel. As seasoned world travelers who have lived on every continent, we rate...
