We stayed there for 1 night in end september. The hotel is in a historic building, and it really feels like it. The bulding is beatiful, and the views from the hotel are amazing on a sunny day like we had. Obviously, it's an old hotel, but pretty well maintained and clean overall. Room was small, wifi was ok and... More

This is a lovely, older hotel overlooking the St. Laurence River. About a 10-15 minute walk to the Croisieres whale-watching tours. Spacious grounds, parking, and lobby area with fireplace and views of the river My room and bathroom were small, but clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem is the lack of restaurants for... More

We were greeted warmly and sat in the comfortable lobby until our room was ready. Nice, clean room with a small balcony. The rain kept us inside. The entire property has a wonderful historic feel. Very close to some excellent town restaurants.

We spent 2 nights in Tadoussac for the famous whale watching. Tadoussac was one amongst several stops during a 3 weeks East Canada tour we did with the family. Our agency booked us a room at the Hotel Tadoussac. Hotel Tadoussac is probably the most famous Hotel in town. It is very nicely located and enjoys a brilliant view onto... More

This was a one of a kind treat! With a view of the Tadoussac bay, whales and seals randomly popping up from the water, WOW! This hotel is extremely clean, has excellent customer service and amazing food to offer in its restaurant. The area is fantastic with its rocks, water and dunes. The beds were super comfortable.

Gorgeous hotel on the bay. Amazing views. But the inside was from 1962. They need to update it big time. No A/C if you're visiting in the summer and it was hot and muggy while we were there. It was very clean, but there's no refrigerator which was a bummer. You could pay extra for one. Overall though, this hotel... More

Nice old hotel. Clean and comfy but few modern amenities in rooms. Being with a bus tour we were mainly relegated to rooms at the back which tended to be dark. Still; comfy bed and it was quiet. You can even open a window. Nice decks. Nice homey lobby. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet.

Wow, fantastic view on the bay. Great stay. The employees are very nice and friendly. The hotel has an colonialists/ nostalgic atmosphere. There was also a nice challenging puzzle of 1000 pieces or something in the lobby. Nice idea. (My husband's reaction was more like stop it you are not a granny yet :D). Definitely stay again. I think it... More

Beautiful grand hotel with best location in Tadoussac. Grounds outside are gorgeous..thanks to very hard working grounds keepers that are ever present. View spectacular. Inside not so much... think Holiday Inn but back in the day. This is a gold mine that requires some TLC. Forget eating there unless you go to their small intimate veranda restaurant run by Vincenzo.... More

We stayed at another hotel but came to Hotel Tadoussac for the breakfast buffet. If you are hungry this is the place to be. Many food options available, most homemade. It's hard to keep pancakes fluffy in a steamer and the home fries seemed to have come from the freezer. Otherwise all dishes were very good, even REAL maple syrup.... More
