This is not so much a review of the place but of the staff. While on a saddlebag snowmobile trip, my cold turned into an ear infection which then ruptured my eardrum. I arrived at this hotel and immediately went to lay down. A waitress spoke pretty good english and could see how sick I was. She arranged for a regular at the restaurant to transport me to the hospital and waited for me to get discharged and take me back to the hotel. With some antibiotics I was much better the next day but never would have made it without their help. Thank you so much!!

Convenient as it was just in roadside and a few mins drive from city centre. WiFi was good and steady. Reception staff was also friendly and quick to check us in even we arrived earlier than check in time. Didn’t try the restaurant and hence can’t give comment. Downside was no aircon and no fridge, a bit inconvenient but can be compensated by fresh air through the window and fan- cannot heat noise from the road which is a good thing. Overall not bad for $90 a night.

Reasonable motel off the highway. Clean. Not air conditioned as advertised. Mistakes with our reservation. But people are friendly. Restaurant staff friendly. Food quality is about what you expect from a motel. Breakfast is fast.

We stayed in the room facing route138 ( still ok since we closed all the windows at cool night in this late summer/early fall season;)in summer hot humid days it might be a problème especially not every room has AC). The room is clean and neat. The only thing is :please repair the broken window(s).I would recommend this motel to those who is looking for a place to stay in Tadoussac . The motel has a resto too which is a good price-quality choice when you are before/after the whale watching cruise.

We stayed two nights as we were in the area to go whale watching, we tried to move to another hotel/motel after we booked in - but the whole town was full. The bathrooms are renovated but that is were the good news ends. The mattresses are cheap and thin, the carpet was dingy, our room was 20 feet from the highway and the noise that goes with it! The website says free wifi, but when we couldn't find a signal the front desk clerk said that it doesn't always work. We were there during the Olympics and wanted to watch some events in the evening - we had trouble with the small tube tv and when I went to the front desk she offered no advice or resolution and just said "it should work". We asked to speak to the manager on two occasions and was told both times he wasn't around. We left a message for him to drop by when he came back - we never heard from him. We paid $170.00/per night for a $50/per night room! We should have camped instead! Stay at the Hotel Tadoussac if you can book enough in advance.

Very basic room, but clean. Bring your own soap as they have foam soap dispensers in by the sink and the shower. Not sure how you are supposed to use that in the shower, but oh well. The room was quiet except for the occasional truck passing by the motel. They also have a restaurant, but only ate there one morning. The waitress was managing the tables as well as the motel registration, so service could be spotty. She was busy, but not that attentive to the diners.

We stayed here 3 nights. Very clean, nice new bathroom. The famous restaurant is there for different foods. No AC -but you don't need with fans and fresh air. Window was broken and at night you will get traffic noise. We had to decide in 1 day notice and it was a good fit.

Rooms and bathrooms are renovated, clean. The only drawback is the location which is close to the highway 138. It could get noisy overnight as trucks pass by. The onsite restaurant is of surprisingly good quality and reasonably priced. Service is slow though.

I went to Tadoussac in November. The place was one of the few facilities opened at that time of the year. The room I had was a typical motel room, with standard furniture and bathroom. The place was clean and in good order. I had a good night sleep. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was ok and not very expensive. Overall, nice place if you have a limited budget. Would recommend.

It's an alright place. I was in room 29, the section with the balcony The wifi is sketchy, the signal is alot weaker and slower in this section. The food in the restaurant was great. Fishermans platter for you fish lovers is awesome.
