All my daughter wanted for her 7th birthday was "a night in a castle" and did the Bessborough ever deliver. She and her friend were treated so well by all the staff who played along with the girls. Everyone was so friendly and made the three of us feel extremely special. STOVINS for supper was scrumptious. The Terrace café had a beautiful view and delicious breakfast. Friendly service across the board. After breakfast we were retreated to a mini tour. It's obvious that the staff really Rises to the challenge of meeting my customer's needs And ensures everybody has a phenomenal experience. I wish I could give more than five stars.

This place is amazing. Service is impeccable. Staff beyond friendly and caring. First time in a long time, seemed like they went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. From front desk to restaurant to cleaning staff, everyone made eye contact, engaged with genuine interest and tried to make our stay even better. Great location- lots of fun things to walk to. Majestic location near the river. Fell in love with Saskatoon because of this hotel. We’ll be back!

This hotel is disgusting. It is dirty and very old. But wait for the best - we had no hot water or heating - they explained it was normal maintenance and I should have got an email (didn't and why would anybody sign up for that). The hotel thought that was fine even though I was paying almost $400.00 a night. Please never stay here - you will be so disappointed. By the way this is the first review I have ever left before about a hotel. Given that - please take this seriously and don't be fooled by the outside photos. It really is gross.

Having just stayed at the Royal York in Toronto and Fort Garry in Winnipeg, I would say the Bessborough is not quite as impressive, especially the lobby. However, that is minor. It's a beautiful building, nice clean rooms, in a good location in downtown Saskatoon. Recommended.

Wow! What a beautiful hotel! Well cared for, very kind, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful room overlooking the river. The room was ready when we asked, sparkling clean with commentary water. We phoned and asked for robes and they were there quickly. We swam in the clean refreshing pool and relaxed in the well maintained hot tub. I forgot to ack a few things and the front desk was very helpful in assisting me with procurement of the items I was missing. The river walk has beautiful paths and the hotel has a lovely garden area. Parking was ground level self park. Reasonable prices for parking. Excellent housekeeping services. We were visiting for our anniversary and it was even acknowledged by the staff. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. Thank you for the hospitality Bess!

This is a lovely hotel located along the river. The staff was professional and very friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The only caution I give is that there is a homeless element in the park adjacent to the hotel grounds. The hotel has good security and I observed them make their rounds around the property. The outer doors are locked by 8pm and require a guest key to open. Great location near restaurants and downtown. secure parking.

Overrated overpriced and dingy. The fourth floor smelled of sewage. The carpets are so loose one could easily trip. The place is most certainly overpriced. On top of it you get charged more than 6 dollars per day for "Destination Marketing Program" What he hell is that????? Never again. There are much nicer hotels and cheaper too in Saskatoon.

This is a very impressive hotel. Checkin was easy and friendly staff. We stayed here only for 1 night in a 1 bedroom suite with sofa bed. The room was super spacious and clean. It was quiet and great view of the river. Would recommend staying here, it was wonderful.

This is a wonderful hotel.I stayed four nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It is historic, professionally run with a great staff. Front desk and management are really helpful and concerned with your enjoyment and comfort. I just cannot say enough about the wonderfull treatment I received. The hotel retains its original 1935 design and decor, while being modern and updated. The room was spacious, with a first class view of the river and downtown. Food and service in the Garden Cafe were excellent. Free bikes are available, and its so centrally located I walked everywhere. I recommend this to anyone seeking comfort, attentive staff, and a charming historical atmosphere.

I stayed at 'The Bess' for a week on business. What a pleasure! Sometimes with these old iconic hotels, the functionality is not what you expect. But they've done an excellent job at keeping the standard of excellence high. The location is amazing. And I loved the bikes that you could take out from the lobby and ride along the river. The Bess is close to restaurants and has great walkability. I was really amazed at the beautiful gym and pool area. Very nice! I had a massage at the hotel and that was a great feature. The staff was friendly and competent. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for this place!
