Great property, great location and friendly staff. I live in Whitehorse, so I'm used to the beautiful nature I experience every day. There is just something special about Sundog retreat though. The views and property are just outstanding. The cabin I stayed in was fully equipped. (Full kitchen, BBQ, TV, books, etc.) This was my second time at Sundog and...

My friend and I stayed in the Raven's Nest from November 12th to 15th 2014 and had a great time. Raven's Nest is the 1 bedroom unit above the studio and is the perfect size for two people. It was extremely clean and the kitchen was very well appointed. We brought some food with us in our luggage and bought...

I've been traveling to Whitehorse on and off for the last 20 years. When company comes to visit me in Alaska we typically drive the Golden Circle and spend the night in Whitehorse. When I was looking for options this year I happened upon Sundigs website I was pleasantly surprised with all they had to offer. The cabin was spotless...

Located about 20 minutes from Whitehorse, very easy to find. Friendly hosts with very private accommodations. We stayed in the Ravens Nest, quaintly appointed, but could use a few deck chairs outside. Bed was comfortable, but the bedroom window could use better blinds to block out the sun (which never really went down). We would stay here again for sure.

This is by far the best place to stay in Whitehorse! The cabins are clean comfortable warm and cozy. They are also dog friendly. It's a perfect break on the long drive through Canada. Andrew was wonderful to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

This place is really something special. We went with our two boys and we all had the most wonderful time. Strong Auroras every night viewed from the comfort and warmth of our lovely cottage (Cranberry). If you are in The Yukon do yourself a favor and stay here. The service provided by all the staff is warm and friendly, the...

My partner and I had an absolutely amazing time at the sundog retreat. Heather and Andrew were wonderful, prompt in replying to all our requests prior to arrival and couldn't have been more attentive to any of our needs. They even bought over a bottle of champagne to celebrate our engagement. The cabins are far enough away from each other...

We chose to stay here for our 5 nt trip to Whitehorse because of the remote location away from city lights. Sundog Retreat is perfect. Well spaced out cabins, which are extremely clean, comfortable, warm and well set up. Everything you need us provided. Andrew could not have been more helpful....even down to sending over Moose & Bison steaks for...

We had a wonderful time staying at Sundog in February 2015. It is a lovely place for a family vacation and Yukon winter adventure. We traveled from California with our small children, who had a great time playing in the snow around our cabin and exploring the property. We really enjoyed the daytime activities, including dog sledding and touring Whitehorse...

A great getaway from the city lights to watch the Aurora in peace and (complete) silence. The cabin we got was ideal, with a nice backyard full of snow and ice. We could see the Aurora from indoors if we liked, but it's also easy to just step out for the full view. Overall, recommended.
