Sundog was recommended to me by a local Whitehorse hospitality operator. Stayed - Fuzzy Crocus - 3 nights. Cabin was exceptionally clean, cosy and comfortable. It has everything you need (including a view from the bedroom / kitchen area). Andrew and Heather went the "extra mile" to accommodate last minute requests. Similarly, their son was more than happy to help...

This place is amazing! I cannot imagine my trip to Whitehorse without this beautiful resort as the background! The cabins are well appointed, and the amenities are first rate. I was able to watch the Auroras from a hot tub and then take a sauna before heading off to bed! They have viewing cabins to watch the auroras as well,...

Last year, I won roundtrip tickets from Atlanta to just about anywhere in North America, and I chose to visit the Sundog Retreat (the "Sundog"), near Whitehorse, Yukon. It was a splendid choice! My husband and I had never been to the Yukon, and we especially wanted to see the Northern Lights. After much research, we decided the Sundog was...

My friends and I stayed at Sundog for 4 nights and 5 days in February to witness the start of the Yukon Quest 2015. First of, booking a place alone is already a lot of work for anyone who only has a few days to spare for a holiday. Good thing, Heather made everything easy. She was always available for...

This is my second time here. Last time during the summer by car (from the Wash. DC area) for my retirement trip. This time in the winter by plane after successfully starting my second career. I found the two seasons to have their distinct beauties. The staff were very kind and efficient, but not intruding, so our stay was very...

Based on our 6 night stay in Panorama during early January 2015, you can assume these cabins are warm, comfortable, fully equipped, spotless and well maintained. They come with a good BBQ and deck.,The basic channels only TV is supplemented with a DVD player. Beds against walls etc had maximised occupancy in this 2 bedroom cabin to 6/7 or so,...

Fantastic experience. Reasonable priced. Clean cabins, working and hot sauna and hot tub, best part are their Aurora viewing cabins. two cabins dedicated just for waiting for the magical lights, complete with couches, heat and hot chocolate and marshmallows.

To stay at Sundog retreat gave us such a wonderful time for my family and friends. We rent 3 cottages for total of 15 people. Aurora was our main purpose, the best accommodation ever for Aurora viewing in my opinion. It is a bit far from city center, which means you can see it from a few steps away from...

One of the most amazing experience that both my wife and myself had. Came to Whitehorse not knowing what to expect. Arrived at Wolf Den totally pleased that the cabin was so clean and cozy. Our host were very hospitable and ensure that we had everything that we need for the stay. Appreciate the fact that we were given courtesy...
