Stayed one night while visiting Rochester/Chatham Docks. Public areas, bar and restaurant have character and charm, and while the bedrooms are clean, they are small and with very little character. The breakfast and staff are excellent. We also ate dinner in the restaurant as we arrived late, and we had an excellent dinner. Recommend.

Thankyou for spending the time to leave such a lovely review its really great to know you enjoyed your stay with us. Because of the age of the building some rooms are larger than others, room 7 for example is huge so maybe if you are in the area again and would like to stay ring me and I'll make...

We visited this restaurant recently with friends. On arriving my husband went to the bar and ordered a drink while I looked for a table. As I approached a vacant table a woman pushed past me and grabbed a bill and a ten pence tip that had been left. There was no apology in fact I did think that maybe...

This response is for the couple on the right hand-side of the table as your friends on the left were very nice and polite. I feel I need to respond to some of the comments in this unfair review and give our version of events. Firstly, when customer arrives at the venue they are greeted and asked if they have...

I stayed here for a couple of nights whilst on business in the area and had a very pleasant time. The room was very good and comfortable and the decor most pleasant. The food and local beers were very tasty as well. I hope to stay here again soon.

What a lovely welcome. Food - well just right in my opinion. Ploughmans was the best ever (and no I am not telling you how old I am). Evening meal was well presented and just right after spending the day visiting the sights locally. The Roman villa is a must and the castle (or remains) was smaller than I had...

We stayed at this hotel for one night and from the moment we checked in, we found it to be warm and welcoming. We stayed in room 1 which was a large room with a king bed and a single bed and also had a decent size bathroom. We thought that the single bed was a bit close to the...

Just got back from a nights stay with a friend at the castle hotel whilst attending a friends wedding in Farningham, Kent This hotel is small with only 7 rooms, cute and very well managed in my opinion, the staff are very polite, and ever so helpful, the manager himself even offered & gave us a lift to the wedding...

I used to live locally and went to this pub when it was small and dark. On a recent visit I was told that it had been refurbished. The difference is immense. The main bar is now open, light and very tastefully decorated. The service is warm and friendly, the menu is local and imaginative and the cooking superb. I...

I only booked for 1 night, thank goodness. While the room was a good size, and the bed comfortable, there was no wardrobe, the toilet seat needed fixing, and the automatic lighting system in the bathroom was annoying. The furniture and decor was very twee, throughout the place, with the bathroom cupboard door being held shut by way of folded...

Although we are very sorry you did not enjoy your stay as this is obviously the object of the exercise, we do feel we need to address some off your unfair comments as they are totally false.
