We searched on-line, for a reasonably priced Hotel with an interesting Restaurant Menu and came up with The Aviator. The first contact to make a booking was by 'phone and this proved to be a very easy and enjoyable experience. Travelling up from Kent on a Friday evening is not the best of times to travel but we duly arrived...

The hotel is jolly nice. When working in Northampton, it is always a good thing to stay near the town and not in it. I used to stay at the Ibis which so far as I could ever establish was only accessible by throwing a left turn at a junction where one is not allowed to do so! Walking in...

Booked 5 for family, all comparable with a good quality Hotel. For a change plenty of coffee, tea milk and biscuits for many a cup. Catering staff were so on the ball, big thank you to Ashleigh, you was a gem. It was top spec event and you and your staff came up to the mark. Decor straight out of...

This is great value for a hotel near the Airfield. Clean and tidy, good rooms, helpful staff and good food- and did I mention its near the airfield, so great if you are having a 50 hour service on your aircraft or a "Flying weekend" with a college? Good Value Good rooms Good food What can I say?

Arrived after 5 hour drive to a very cool welcome and a large price increase. The advertised and booked rate was £69 per night for two b&b. Reception said it was now £79 per night plus breakfast at £7.50 per person so £94 per night. Take it or leave it attitude, no apology just produced a generic letter showing that...

Room was clean and comfortable, I had all what was needed, hot water, soft and fragrant towels, wifi. Hotel restaurant and bar are nice and cosy. There are offered international brewery beers and which is more interesting microbrewery beers. restaurant is in same spirit....

We stayed one night at The Aviator for a birthday celebration with friends and were pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel is after reading some of the reviews and looking at the photos. The hotel has lots of art deco character and overlooks the airfield and hangers. It is well kept, with the public areas in one building, and...

This is so different! It's like stepping back in time. Lovely clean and tidy room - very comfortable bed. The bar is great - expect Poirot to pop in at any minute. There is also a coffee shop upstairs where you can watch the planes take off. Love it!

Late afternoon... travelling up the motorway... nowhere to stay! Googled hotels in the immediate vicinity of where we needed to be the following day. The Aviator looked interesting. Phoned up and friendly reception staff made the booking easy. The heat is off. We have somewhere to stay tonight (28-09-16). Eventually found the place and what a surprise... all done throughout...
