Outstanding hosts: Diana and Jeff anticipated our needs, and we appreciated the many extra touches to ensure that our stay was memorable. Diana's knowledge of the area was welcome, especially when it came to dining. She even popped over to our table one night to ensure we were enjoying her recommendation! Cycle trail and golf course maps always ready for...

Exceptional welcome when we arrived. The food was outstanding, particularly the breakfasts. Accommodation was very good. The location was very beautiful and scenic. We especially enjoyed the old-fashioned sweet shop half a mile away! All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to everyone.

Thank you for the positive feedback about the size of our rooms and the breakfasts! We are fortunate in having so much space for guests to relax in. It was lovely to meet you all and the children - this week we have a group of cyclists from Cambridge staying enjoying the Hawke's Bay cycle routes and a couple from...

A fantastic warm welcome from Jeff with a pot of tea and a chat in comfy chairs on the patio looking out onto a beautiful garden. I was also treated to dinner with Jeff, Diana and their friend Chris, which was very much appreciated as I was travelling on my own. A great breakfast which set me up nicely for...

We stayed in the Hawkes Bay area so we could enjoy some golf and really enjoyed the welcome and stay at Havelock House. Diana greeted us with a pot of tea and chocolate brownies for afternoon tea. Our room had a lovely bay window with views of the back garden and was equipped with everything you would need. The bathroom...

Thank you for taking the time to post some feedback - we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. Our home was originally built for a Kiwi / Canadian couple and has the feel of many North American homes but also incorporates a lot of the style and character of older New Zealand Hawke's Bay properties - with large bedrooms with...

We have just returned from a lovely couple of days in the Hawkes Bay. Havelock House proved a perfect base. The breakfast was wonderful, great eggs, tasty bacon and wonderful muesli (Diana offered me the recipe and when I declined gave my husband a "take home" pack.) The room was spacious and the bath massive. We had pre booked most...

We were so pleased you enjoyed the weekend with us at Havelock House; you certainly had a full itinerary - and enjoyed restaurant meals at Black Barn, Elephant Hill and Le Terroir at Craggy Range winery - all close by to here. Thanks for the positve feedback about the breakfasts and the homemade muesli! Best wishes Diana

We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay here at Havelock House. Thank you for all your kind comments.
