We were there a little off-season, so my experience may not be typical. Arrived a Monday, when the restaurant is closed. Don't be scared-off by the exterior, which is in need of some paint and a little TLC. The interior was nicely done, clean and very comfortable. Staff were helpful.

If you like rustic setting this is the place. Nice size rooms, great prices, good restaurant. The definition of quaint. Definitely a hotel to try if in the area and I would stay again. Staff very accommodating.

This property has all the makings and bones of an enchanting rustic oasis. It's detachment from fast life and the serenity of it's setting is probably what drew the likes of Albert Einstein and Ernest Hemingway to its charm. Those days and sentiment linger softly in its shadow. We came for a beautiful wedding - which served as a perfect...

My husband and scrambled to get out of the mountains before the snow fell and stumbled upon Highland Ranch Resorts as it was halfway to our destination. The hospitality cannot be beat...we had breakfast delivered to our room...in the rain!! We also gorged ourselves at The Grand Oaks Steakhouse - excellent menu and wine selection by the way :) Unfortunately,...

My hubby and I visited this place for dinner in their bar area one evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I had their recommended burger and it was delicious. Hubby had a steak and it was cooked perfectly per his request at med rare. It was a Thursday evening and the was live entertainment was Jerome Robinson, formerly from The Platters....

This was a truly unique modestly priced, wedding site. The room was nicely appointed, with a large sitting area, walk in closet, ac and bathroom. Restaurant was excellent. The resort needs significant maintenance work, the pool wasn't open in August.

In dire need of updating. The Lavender Festival was great! The ambiance and music under the mature trees were fabulous. We very much enjoyed the festival. So we thought we would love to stay here this Summer. We decided to visit the pool because it was so hot and our kids would love to stay and swim. Wow, what a...

Every June, the Highland Springs Ranch hosts The Lavender Festival. First, you should know that the Ranch is surrounded by fields of lavender, all the time. The scent that wafts through the air is, thus, heavenly. The annual event occurs throughout the rustic grounds, which are shaded by many mature trees. Various musical and dance performances occur on a small...

We were there for the festival, what a beautiful view walking inside the lavender field. Reminded me while I was in the lavender field in Notre-Dame de Senanque Abbey in Provence, France. Highland Springs is a better place to view the lavender blooming because France is too far away.

This is the first time my family and I have attended their Lavender Festival. And I have to say I don't know why we haven't gone sooner. It was a great experience with good food, plenty of vendors, demonstrations/discussions and of course the on site Lavender Fields! It was very well planned out with parking off site and VERY NICE...
