I love this resort. The staff at the front dest was helpful, friendly and professional. My sister and I booked a room for a family reunioun, looking for a rustic, nature inspired location and what a sweet surprise. We were greeted in the lobby with a beautiful display of local history with antique ambience which was ispirational. Our room was...

We had a fine time at the Highland Springs Resort one recent weekend, but the hotel is a bit shabby and run down. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff seemed to have trouble keeping the breakfast buffet (that was included in the price for the room) stocked with basics...

We arrived there with the expectations of a 'resort' and left disappointed. We didn't even stay the night as we had planned. We checked in and checked out w/in a matter of hours. The clerk mentioned that their remodel has been 5 years in the making and still a work in progress. other than find some newer decorations and a...

Most lovely retreat I have ever visited. It is really quiet and full of surprises. It is not a fancy luxury pricey resort-----thank heavens! Our room ( in the 800 bldg ) was HUGE, almost double the size of a regular hotel room, and clean. It had a large walk-in closet with a mini refrigerator. Comfy Queen beds covered in...

We were heading West on Fwy 10 from Palm Springs, looking for a place to eat. We typed in Organic Cafe and Highland Springs popped up. Its off the fwy 2 miles, and its a real treasure!! The meal and service was wonderful, we will come back. We saw the room rates and they are very reasonable, the grounds are...

We went there yesterday to look the place over and was amazed how it felt like we just stepped back in time. It is a rustic place with different different gardens, waterways, historic stage coaches, old cars and wonderful gift shop full of all sorts of lavender treats. I told my friend that we need to plan a girls weekend...

The Highland Springs Resort is located in the hills near Beaumont, CA. It was a former stage coach stop way back when, and a resort in the early 1920-1930's was built. Now a days, it look more like a retreat house for much about this place has stayed the same. We like it for that reason. Not so much luxury,...

Love the lavender tea & the farm is beautiful. Something that I will not be able to experience in my home country. Room was a comfortable size. But, as we only book for a 1 night stay after a day shopping at Dessert Hills PO, so, cannot really commend much on other stuff. House keeping can be further improved as...

I Loved everything about Highland Springs. Everyone at the place was beyond helpful and friendly. There definitely is some work that can be done on the historic place, but overall it's a lovely escape from the city. We stayed in the 100's Cottage rooms and they were perfectly sized and very cute. In the morning there was a power outage...

Rustic is a kind description of the Highland Springs "Resort." This property is extremely run down and in need of millions in repairs, even the rooms that have been renovated. They are charming but remain musty with old bathrooms, unlocking windows with no screens and smelly. The exterior of the hotel is peeling with paint and cobwebs and many of...
