Such a unique location perched on top of hills in the middle of the valle. Best views in the region! The staff was super attentive. Our buggy driver, Luis, was always very joyful and kind. The food was great but menus were a bit limited, but I think that will change as the hotel gets more guests. We loved spending time at the two resort pools, but you should be aware they are both quite small, so may be a bit awkward when other guests are already there… but that is why all the villas have their own pools too. We had a great day of wine tasting, and ventured out for dinner on two of the nights.
Tips:
•breakfast service can take a long time be sure to budget at least an hour and a half
• if you don’t have your own car, make sure you arrange transportation in advance, there are not really taxi’s and Uber. The official transportation company quoted USD $91 to bring us to dinner and back (15 minutes away).
•enjoy the sunrise and sunset views from the hilltop area. So beautiful.
• we had a lovely lunch at the restaurant’s Jardin Bontanico which was nice and casual, with great views of the vines, the resort, and it had a great mixologist!
•Sonia and Flor were very helpful in the pre-arrival planning for our stay.

Dear Michael F, we wanted to thank you for your feedback, comments and recommendations and above all for ypur rating. As you mentioned we are a newly opened hotel and working on the menu expansion. At the same time we have several restaurants open and there is the chance of mix and matching, regardless if you are sitting at a specific venue. We also appreciate the recommendation of renting a car to future guests. Since there aren´t any taxis around the Valley nor uber, all transportation comes from Ensenada and that is the reason why transfers are so expensive even though the rides are short. We have shared your regards with Luis, Sonia and Irma. We look forward to welcoming you back,

Our time at Banyan Tree Veya were some of the most relaxing days spent with fantastic accommodations! With personal service, delicious food paired with selected wines, and the amenities - I can’t highly recommend this property more for a small group or leisure travel. Take advantage of the Spa and classes offered daily onsite. Can’t wait to return to the property to experience the essence of Veya!

Dear neilfA4186NY, we are happy to know that you enjoyed the amazing 360° views that we have amongst the three hills that are amidst property. Our wellbeing offerings are one of my favourite things. There is always something new to learn. Therefore we always recommend to bring comfortable shoes and clothing to be able to join these activities or for a simple walk around property. Looking forward to seeing you soon,

This new resort is outstanding. From the moment you’re greeted on a golf cart to the restaurants to the massages it’s a 10/10. The room was perfect with updated accommodations, black out curtains, a French press coffee maker, ample storage for suitcase and a bed that will help you catch some amazing Z’s. Don’t miss breakfast or dinner here as they put a lot of time and effort into local ingredients and cuisine. This is a great resort to relax and enjoy the valley.

Dear Payden M, we wanted to thank you for taking the time to review us. You are describing in very simple terms the pace of Banyan Tree Valle de Guadalupe. The pace is relaxed and traquil, and somehow we created an oasis by having only golfcarts moving around the property. Looking forward to have you back,

Imagine being sold the “concept” of a 5 star resort in Valle De Guadalupe, the fastest growing wine region in all of Mexico (one could argue all of North America). But what you are provided is a “Villa” with no hot water or air conditioning. This is what Banyan Tree Veya provides you. It’s a promise of luxury, nothing more than just a promise. I wish it could be more than what I experienced. The Valle is such a beautiful place. You will have some of the best wine in the worked in this region, but it will be a much better experience if you stay somewhere else. Buena suerte.

We recently stayed at Banyan Tree in Valle De Guadalupe, and it was the perfect romantic escape. The highlight for us was the private jacuzzi in each room, where we could sit under the stars with a glass of wine—truly magical! We also indulged in a couples massage followed by hydrotherapy, which was completely private. The spa being co-ed was a huge plus as it allowed us to enjoy all the amenities together.
One of the standouts from our trip was the private dining experience at the hotel’s restaurant. The Sommelier, Diego, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the dinner unforgettable with his expertise and recommendations.
While we loved our stay, we did encounter some issues with our room. Being a new hotel, there are still a few quirks to work out. However, despite these minor hiccups, we would absolutely return for another stay. The romantic ambiance and top-notch service made it all worthwhile.

Dear NautiSwan, first of all we would like to thank you for your feedback. We are thrilled to know that you enjoyed the private plunge pool under the stars. It seems you had a very "balanced" romantic escape; Spa treatments, wine and food. We will make sure to pass on your regards to Diego and the team, who will be more than happy to welcome you both back soon. Wishing you well,

The receptionist was very rude, she didn't apply the credit we had, she wanted to charge us breakfast when we had it included, we thought 2 rats and did nothing about it
Super slow golf carts
The bad bar service,
The hotel is nice but has opportunity areas.
We were really all very upset with the way we answered from the receptionist.

Being two hours off the coast of California, Bayan Tree is the best kept secret having opened just three months ago. This incredible facility boasts beautiful views, a chic design and decor and all the luxuries you could want in a Valle vacation. Our villa featured our own private mini plunge, a walk in shower, and outdoor bed that rolled right into the vineyards. The Banyan tree also had an incredible outdoor pool area that overlooked the valley. The guacamole by the pool was very good. The staff was warm, attentive and helpful if we ever needed anything. Overall, great wellness oasis in Valle. Will definitely be back!

Dear Eduardo, it has been a pleasure having you stay with us at Banyan Tree Veya in Valle de Guadalupe for the second time. As you mentioned we love the fact that the villas and the hotel in general invite you to stay in and don´t leave the premises. Villas are well appointed and spatious, good common areas respecting the environment, a handfull of restaurants and many wellbeing activities. We have passed on your comments to both Sonia and Angel. The place has amazing valley views, the rooms are very large and comfortable. The decor is very elegant. The restaurant has a very extensive menu and the best thing is that the food is from the surrounding farms, you can perceive a better taste being farmed and harvested in the area.
Would definitely come back as the service is exceptional:)

Very good service from the forgiveness
Terrible restaurant, poorly made at the wrong time and poorly cooked
Spa bad logistics,
The shower in the room is slippery with the risk of accident. In fact, I had an accident because the marble is not treated to make it suitable for a shower.
The price is not worth what it offers,
The truth is I was quite disappointed
