My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and found it to be very relaxing. Lounging by the pool and speaking with other guests in a non judgemental environment. The food was very reasonably priced and was tasty. Our room was comfortable and I really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom.

It took 3 hours from the airport ( I arranged transfers through them at $80 each way), to arrive late (approx. 9.30pm) they did keep the restaurant (limited as it was) open for us. Unfortunately we didn't pay attention to the pricing as we were shocked that we could not get cocktails! One type of beer and about four choices...

Dear Sharon, Let's get it straight : All hotels and resorts in Northern Bali are between 3 to 5 hours from the airport. We are at 2.5 hours during day light, a bit more at night as we have to drive slowly. That is a geographical fact. The fare is 60 US$ for a 100 km drive through the mountains...

Again, I had a wonderful time here. Beautiful gardens, very nice and service minded staff and terrific massages. Open air bathroom definitely adds to the charm. It is in the middle of nature, so lots of bugs, but they do a great job in order to keep the place nice and tidy.

Hi Brian, Thanks for your review, Indeed we are right in the middle of nature and that includes not only some bugs, but also squirrels, birds, gekkos, lizards etc. Bugs can be a problem during the rainy season, but they mostly show up from 7 till 7.30 PM. Then they go, Amazingly there are no (or very few) mosquitoes and...

Me and my wife Just returned from a 4 day trip to this beautiful resort. No massive tourism. No noise anything else than jungle and sea sounds. The buildings are scattered around two swimming pools, spacy and well equipped. Especially the half "open air" bathrooms are a nice experience. The gardens are beautifully arranged. The food is great, the staff...

Hi Henri, Thanks for your review. Indeed, the beach is not nudist, it's a public beach but inside the resort there is no limit and all guests and some staff go naked. The trip from the airport to the resort is indeed a bit long, especially at night. But during the day it's a wonderful excursions all the way from...

We have just shared a wonderful, relaxing and energising experience. A poolside apartment, great meals and friendly staff made this one of the most restful holidays we have ever had. It is well away from all the hustle and bustle of commercial Bali and the trip from the airport in itself is well worth it alone. The scenery and sights...

Had a great time at this hotel. Had the mid priced rooms right in front of the pool. Great to be able to just walk out you room nude and have a dip in the pool or go to have a meal. Restaurant has good quality meals. Staff always willing to help and very friendly. Has lovely well kept grounds....

Thanks for your review and I'm happy you had a great time like everybody else. To explore the local area, we have free bicycles only but short and longer excursions are indeed offered by the hotel at reasonable price. Unfortunately, there are no taxis or even scooter hire in the whole of North Bali. Hope to see you soon again

Dear Nudity, I am sorry that you may have missed out on many things while in Bali au Naturel. Yoga and Meditation is available in nearby specialized resorts. As for the food, there are several vegetarian dishes on the menu, and special dishes not on the menu can be ordered. Just tell one of the three chefs what and how...

From the minute we arrived, Staff and other Guests made us feel very welcome, the Master room was very comfortable and right next to one of the spotless pools, which are at a typical tropical temperature. We couldn't fault the food. The well kept grounds are beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The resort is quite small (12 rooms I think) which...

Thanks for your excellent review. Indeed, Bali au Naturel is an excellent place for introduction to nudity - management staff and guest relations welcome you in the buff and all other guests are naked as well, at least in and around the swimming pools, but mostly everywhere within the resort, including the restaurant. People feel immediately comfortable being naked from...

Bali au naturel is really a nice resort. Hi Ale Thanks for your review. Bali au Naturel is basically a nudist resort for nudists-only, regardless of gender or sexuality. Prices of meals in the restaurant are lower than neighbouring resorts, and you don't have to worry about being "dressed for dinner". Hope to see you again soon !

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"Bali au Naturel" caters to the discerning traveler who wishes to relax in exclusive tropical and peaceful surroundings, with beautiful landscaped gardens - a perfect backdrop for the demanding traveler in search of clothing-optional luxury. Upon arrival at Denpasar Airport, our driver will take you on an unforgettable trip of 2 hours and a half through the most dramatic landscapes of Bali, along temples, crater lakes, high mountains and jungles. Your days can be spent by doing nothing at all, getting a perfect full tan, 12 hours a day, or more action by swimming, snorkeling, diving, dolphin watching trips, jungle trips, waterfalls, visits to local colorful markets and historic temples, where you may attend non-tourist traditional Hindu ceremonies (we can provide you with the appropriate outfit). And visit Symons Gallery/atelier, famous for its paintings of naked guys and meet the models. Bars, discos, supermarkets and the hustle-bustle of Kuta are all far away. The refined traveler will enjoy here the laid-back, traditional Bali in a quiet nude-friendly atmosphere with all the modern comforts and absolute elegance in a complete secure compound with uncompromised service. An intimate, stylish and romantic resort.
