I am greatly relieved to be able to entrust my deaf friend and her Hearing Dog to Susie's care as I know they will both be looked after so well. Susie is a fantastic host and always goes out of her way to make these two comfortable when they stay. Fantastic place to stay; I'm a local person - and...

We stayed for a couple of nights in April, whilst visiting the UK. Susie's home is what we would describe as a typical farmhouse, with a large, warm & comfortable kitchen & with bedrooms on the floor above. (Stairs could be a problem to someone with reduced mobility.) Our room with en-suite bathroom was spacious & included all we needed....

Homely house. Ample parking. Dopey dog, welcoming cat. Room 2 - huge bath. Hearty breakfast. Lovely lady. If arriving from inland, satnav takes you to Upper Allercombe, just keep going on down the lane.

We received a very warm welcome when we arrived. Susie showed us to our room which was a lovely size - as was the bathroom. A beautiful farmhouse well-kept and homely. I spent two nights at Susie's lovely home . Susie was very hospitable and an excellent cook - the wonderful breakfast included delicious homemade Granola and fruit compote and eggs from her own chickens. My room was very comfortable, quiet and very clean. Lower Allercombe is a perfect place to stay with easy access to a variety of places in...

Hidden away and yet close to Exeter this is a real farmhouse. Susie was delightful and we were well looked after. There are horses dogs and a very pleasant cat around and the atmosphere is relaxed and unstuffy. The bedroom was plain and simple...no kitsch and frou frou....which was good!! The beds are very comfortable and the pillows and bedding guarantee...

We stayed here for a party at nearby Ottery St Mary. The B&B was full but Suzie put us up in the cottage which was clean and cosy. The breakfast was lovely with home grown fruit compote, Greek yoghurt, cereals & tasty full English. We would come back here again!

We stayed here one stormy night at the end of November. Susie made us feel extremely welcome and we had a very comfortable night. The breakfast was really excellent with home made bread as well as locally produced procucts. I can recommend the yogurt and home grown plums as a starter.Thank you Susie, we'll be back!

Just a pot luck choice but Susie made us very welcome from the moment we arrived. Spacious, spotless and very comfortable luxury room with all the nice trimmings. A proper working farm and although some infrequent flights from Exeter airport do fly overhead there didn't seemed to be any at night and we have a very peacful and tranquil time...
