We had a very romantic overnight stay in this charming little village. We had the larger room which was very clean and comfortable. Great service. Excellent breakfast. The road down from Devon was stunning and beautiful and we were lucky with the weather. The roads were quite small which was ok as we were on a motorbike. Would definitely come...

I think we were expecting something a little better for the food. Very friendly though, set in the small village with a small village atmosphere. It was a bit grubby, frankly. The food was not outstanding, very run of the mill pub grub. Dog friendly.

Went with friends for an evening meal as we hadn't been for years. Staff were friendly but the service was very slow, took over an hour for our food to arrive & there were only a few people eating! Food quality was pretty average when it did arrive & I'm afraid we won't be going back.

After seeing the menu on Facebook my partner and I were looking forward to a delicious Sunday roast, however a sticky table first set the tone for our disappointing experience, the whole feel of the interior was very tired and in need of a face lift , the menu was not as varied or as appetising as advertised on line,...

We were staying nearby and were recommended to try this pun for dinner. We weren't disappointed. We started with some delicious whitebait and followed with perfectly cooked hake with crushed potatoes, a chowder sauce and samphire. .. Stunning. My husband had a perfectly cooked rib eye steak. Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere.

Family dinner, phoned at 7pm to be there for 7.30 with a requirement to feed 10 people. Advised that we could choose our meals whilst having a drink as they had other guests for dinner but they did have 2 chefs on duty. They arranged a table for 10 in a quiet room off the main bar, our order was...

If you walk it is down the hills' so you will need a pint to recuperate!! Prices address able and the choice is quite wise. Great for a large group as there is...

Went there for lunch with my family. 3 ordered large ham egg and chips had to ask for more ham. How can you not cook fried eggs 8 provided every one brown on the bottom and two contained egg shells. I know it a very old inn but there is no excuse for not cleaning the windows of millennia of...
