We visited Topsham last September, but stayed elsewhere. This review is based on an early visit to Reka Dom. Lovely location to stay in Topsham with views across the Exe Estuary. We stayed in the Tower room, which is supposed to be the highest spot in Topsham. It had a great view that is for sure. Superb breakfasts and within...

We spent 2 nights here in May this year, our second stay in Reka Dom. Ros & Matt are the perfect hosts and always welcome you as if you are part of their extended family for a short while. We stayed in The Tower which is peaceful and charming and a perfect place in which to unwind with a glass...

We had a lovely stay in the Powderham Suite - the owners couldn't have been more helpful.Everything was on offer from a fridge in the room with cereals, biscuits, home-made jams, cooked breakfast to order and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were great - peaceful location but just a short walk to the town, lovely views of the...

We booked this B&B primarily to explore the Exeter ship canal and Exe estuary by open canoe. Reka Dom was perfect for this - about 50m portage to beach around high tide, about 600m trolley portage (to church jetty) at low tide. We stayed in the Powderham suite for 5 nights and as well as canoeing, we enjoyed the very...

We stayed at Reka Dom in the Powderham Suite just to get away for the weekend with our young son. I couldn't decide whether or not to stay in the centre of Exeter, but so glad we ended here. Plenty to see and do here, and lots of places to eat/drink as well. This is almost more like a 1st...

We stayed for a night in the tower room of this amazing bed and breakfast in topsham which is a gorgeous village just outside Exeter. The room consisted of a small double bedroom, small bathroom ( bath with hand held shower) and a living room upstairs with 360 degree views of the surrounding area. It was perfect and the owners...

We stayed here for 3 nights in the Tower Room. An unusual, comfortable suite of rooms with commanding views from the top floor lounge area and the bathroom area. A perfect location overlooking the estuary and a few minutes walk from the centre of Topsham. Great walking opportunities in all directions. Due to the unusual nature of the building the...

We have just returned from a 5th visit to Reka Dom, and to the wonderful Gardner family. I have never visited anywhere so often, and each time is as lovely as the last. Fabulous family, jawdropping views and outstanding accommodation. And all in Topsham, and close to beautiful villages and scenery. What more could you want? We will return, again...

We spent two nights at Reka Dom, staying in The Tower, and loved every minute. The accommodation is quirky and, if you want lots of space and power showers then it probably isn't for you. Also, if you're not very mobile, choose another room.. However, there is something very magical about cleaning your teeth overlooking the Exe estuary or sitting...

Found out about Reka Dom after Googling Topsham B&Bs following an earlier visit when we couldn't find one by driving around. Looked so nice that I made mental note to try it sometime and so it came to pass that we spent a lovely Saturday / Sunday night here at the end of June. It's fair to say that you...

“I have stayed in Reka Dom several times and would recommend the Powderham suite which has a large king-sized bed in a spacious bed/sitting room and a large single bed in a separate bedroom. The Tower room has fabulous 360 degree view from its top floor sitting room and a double bed.”
