We came for a private anniversary dinner and sampled the delights of the kitchen here.
It was a set five course dinner but dietary requirements were well dealt with and the food was well presented, tasty and had good portion size.

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Very tastefully decorated. The staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and a superb end to our nights stay. I will definitely stay here again.
This was a great find inTopsham. I met with my nephew who is also a foodie and we were both impressed with the standard of food. A nice atmosphere too and great service. Cheaper than many other tasting menus.
Surprisingly reasonably priced, varied range to suit most appetite levels. Plentiful and delicious cakes, so many to choose from and very fancy. Fresh warm scones, plain or fruit. Savoury selection also looked tempting. Revisit on the cards.
Another lovely dinner with great wines Interesting canapés, pidgin breast was perfect as was the seafood stuffed pasta and the beef main course. Definitely worth a visit and we are already booked for our next one.

I would suggest you email the hotel directly on salutation topsham. co.uk as not all hotels look at TripAdvisor regularly. But just to help a little from London you would get train to Exeter and change at St David's or central station and take the exmouth branch line to topsham. The hotel is a five minute walk from the station. I would guesstimate the distance from centre of Exeter is about 8 miles
