We visited for afternoon tea. Really enjoyed the sumptuous grounds and surroundings. Tea was served in the library with very nice finger sandwiches and a delightful looking selection of cake and cream tea. Most of the cakes were very tasty and some rather tasteless. The staff were somewhat inattentive as we had to ask for plates, cutlery and more tea...

Had a brief one night break in the Gatekeepers' house at this lovely hotel. It was offered as a complementary night due to a serious problem encountered during our previous stay. We arrived mid afternoon and spent a couple of hours relaxing in front of the roaring fire. The Gatekeepers' cottage consists of a sitting room, dressing room bathroom and...

My husband & I and dog spent two nights in the stables suite here recently. The gardens and the hotel are breath taking, the quality of care to both really obvious. Walking around here it is easy to forget about city life. Highly recommend the cream tea, walks in gardens and sitting looking at the river flow by. Not cheap...

We visited Endsleigh for a 2 night stay with our 2 yr old. Customer service was exemplary. Food was delicious and we were delighted to enjoy our very own private dining while using the baby listening service provided. It was the perfect break & we are all very eager to visit again. Our daughter was delighted with her cuddly otter...

Friends took over the Hotel for a birthday celebration and it was quite one of the most amazing weekends you could dream off. Admittedly our friends had put a huge amount of effort in arranging treasure hunts and other fun things, but the staff were helpful and friendly throughout, and the food was quite delicious. The hotel is set in...

My wife and I called in for morning coffee. Such a wonderful location. The beautiful driveway curving it's way up to the grand house. Sitting out on the veranda overlooking the well manicured gardens enjoying our coffee was just bliss. We are looking forward to returning for lunch soon.

The moment we walked through the door, we asked each other why we waited a couple of years to revisit as it's guaranteed relaxation from the moment you arrive. Delightful Katie on reception welcomed us, we had a chat with manager Adam whilst we took a drink on the terrace overlooking the river and the ever calm, wine knowledgeable maitre'd...

Two wonderful days spent at Hotel Endsleigh with Fergus Beeley on the Nature Connection event. Fergus is charming and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed walking, looking, listening and learning with him in the beautiful and peaceful grounds of the hotel and the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

A friend and I came on the recommendation of friends to celebrate two memorable days in our lives. I chose veloute of celeriac, pollock and apple streusel and a glass or sauvignon blanc from the set spring menu, all perfectly cooked. The Grade I listed building is intriguing and the gardens beautiful - wish I had taken a look at...

We came for two nights on a Winter Gourmet treat. We arrived and had canapes and champagne in the tea salon, with crackly fire and really relaxed and comfortable air. Our room was one of the least expensive here but was really nicely laid out, just cosy, well thought out and relaxing. We walked in the beautiful grounds, along the...
