I went there without knowing that is was situated remotely from Adamas, but it worth it ! The place is quiet, peaceful and offers great sunset view ! Walking distance from great restaurants (espacially Okto) and from the bus station. If you don't want to walk, a rental car is easy with a huge parking lot available. The room was big, very clean, bed and pillow comfortable and Moschoula is the very nice and great person !!! She was helpful and also left me an excellent and different pastry everyday I was there, yummy ! I highly recommend this place !

We spent one week in Palaios Rooms. During our stay we enjoyed beautiful views, amazing sunset, happy dinners on the terrace. Being with our teenagers we saw several rooms, all of them nice decorated, clean and comfortable. The owner, Moschoulla is very kind persons and she helped us a lot with advices and arrangements for our holidays.

We had planned to camp however the campground on Milos was already closed. We had spent a night in Pollonia and our host there recommended Palaios Rooms. Moschoula is such a kind host who left a few treats for us during our stay. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The room and private bathroom were sparkling clean and charming. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals and make coffee with a cute sink to clean up in. We had a front porch with an expandable clothes drying rack. Tripiti is a quaint town with cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Close to the catacombs and theater ruins. We would absolutely stay with Moschoula again.

Firstly I would like to say, Moschoula, the lady who runs the hotel is great! She is soo helpful and pleasant.. She left toast, cookies and cake for us. She also sent us by mail our jackets which we forgot at the hotel. I strongly recommend Palaios Rooms.

We had a lovely stay at Palaios! It was in a quiet, rural setting that felt very authentic and traditional. You have a beautiful view of the mountains and water in the distance and can hear lamb and chickens at the nearby farms. Moschoula was so helpful and friendly! She met us at the bus station when we arrived to great us and guide us in the right direction. We were on our honeymoon and she gave us welcome drinks, and little homemade cookies. There were also homemade cakes for us everyday, which was so sweet! She helped us reserve a taxi and gave us suggestions about the area. The room had a little kitchenette with everything we needed to make meals. I'd recommend a vehicle to get there or taxi as it's a long walk up/down hill.

Nice, clean little place with a small kitchenette and partial sea views. Moschoula was extremely friendly and helpful and the terraces were nice places to hang out. The wifi was excellent. The only downside is the location, it is about a 15-minute walk, mostly uphill, to get to the nearest shop, market or bus stop (there is one a bit closer during high season). It is no problem at all if you have a vehicle or are only staying for a short time, but a little inconvenient if you don’t.

Palaios rooms makes you feel at home. The lady that runs it is absolutely amazing. She is always making sure everything is ok for you without making you feel uncomfortable. Everyday the room as clean and nit and with some cake in the table waiting for us. The view over the sea is fabulous. Palaios is not a 5* hotel but it is perfect for its category, located in a peaceful village the highlight is the way you are treated in here. Bravo!

This rooms-rent complex is in a very pleasant, quiet setting, and comprises both one-room units with small bathroom and fridge/electric ring, and larger units with two bedrooms and kitchen. We moved into one of the larger kind when our friends had to return to Athens, and found it very commodious. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the small balcony with a wonderful sunset view across the hills. Moschoula was very hospitable, constantly bringing us little treats, and we enjoyed chatting with her. We also liked the location on the edge of the village (not really 'strange' or 'far from civilisation'), which was good for evening strolls (braving the freezing winds of the very cold Easter 2015) and not far from the antiquities either. There is a car park too, although entrance looks a little difficult, up a steep and sharply curving slope. We didn't have a car, but we noticed that taxis preferred to wait at the bottom. I can't find any other faults - altogether this was a delightful place.

Rooms clean and comfy, but the location!!! The rooms are located in a strange district, up in the hills, far from the civilization. No signs of people around. One restaurant and one cafe 300meters ahead. If you travel in a hot month like july, with children - hills to climb are quite a problem. Specially if nothing interesting is there arround to find. Finally changed the place for a different hotel.

The room was spacious and very clean. It had a small bathroom, a kitchen corner and a lovely terrace with a wonderful view. We arrived in Adamas and rented a car for 20euros per day at a local agent. Everybody is very kind in Milos. Tripiti where Palaios rooms are was not very difficult to find. There is plenty of parking space which was great as the small village of Tripiti has very narrow street (very charming). Palaios room is walking distance from the fishing village of Klima, just down hill, the village of Plaka, up the hill. Plaka is a bit more touristic and has a castle (KASTRO) on top of the hill where people walk to at sunset time. The island of Milos is quiet and beautiful with a lot of different type of beaches. Moschoula was very welcoming and gave us great indications about the island. I would definitely stay there again.
