We stopped for a quick lunch and to admire the view over the lake. The hotel is quaint and is decked out in typical Swiss fashion of exposed beams and plenty of wood. Lunch was nice, we had some typical Swiss fare of veal, mushrooms and roesti. The good was tasty and very nice, although like the rest of Switzerland,...

Wonderful view, you can sit in the garden or on a terrace. I had a nice meal arriving late. Rooms impeccable and modern, albeit a bit small. Overall impression very good, a lot of attention to details and friendly staff.we will probably come back.

Although called an "hotel", this is really a restaurant with rooms: there are no sitting rooms and our bedroom was tiny. What makes the place special is the view over the valley and across the lake to the mountains. On the day of our arrival and the next, the weather was hot and we were able to take all our...

We spent one night here in a double room right next to reception. Beautifully located on top of a hill overlooking stunning scenery this place must be a delight in the summer to sit outside and simply enjoy the view. Our room was immaculately clean and we were greeted with a few Swiss chocolates and apples. Reception was business friendly....

Small but complete bathrooms. Price includes a wonderful breakfast buffet with fresh bread loafs, cold cuts as well as cheeses, cereals, yogurts as well as all...

Stayed here with my daughter at the end of July 2012 before heading out for a glacier trek. We stayed one night in Zurich, then wanted somewhere quieter with a nicer view. We found it at Hotel Wassberg. The hotel is well maintained, the rate was quite reasonable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is no air conditioning...

I had a late afternoon meeting in Zumikon golf club and decided I would stay out of Zurich for the night. Hotel Wassberg is a nice choice for this and the connections using the Forchbahn train are excellent. I enjoyed the 30' walk in Chapfholy woods to Zumikon, using my GPS for directions. Even if you don't want to walk...

I wanted a hotel near to Erlenbach/Zurich at a reasonable price, and this came up trumps on that basis. It is in a beautiful setting with superb views all round. The rooms are IKEA style basic, but very clean and have all required, except a minibar, but lets not worry about that. The staff are superlative, friendly to a fault,...

“Try and get a room looking to the side, overlooking the Lake. Rooms looking out to the front, parking lot can be somewhat noisy if you are an early sleeper, but after 11pm, all s quiet every place.”

“I booked a cheaper room without a view but it had access to a small terrace on the roof and was in my opinion a very god bargain since I could enjoy the public rooms and was there on a short overnight stay.”
