A short 45 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur can take you up to a breathtaking wonderful sanctuary called Embun Luxury Villas. From the lower reception registration following RMCO SOP, we were taken up by a buggy and treated like VIPs. Upon arrival, each one of us absorbed the luxury of the hilltop panoramic scenery and beautifully landscaped garden. The management was attentive to our special dietary requirements pre-ordered in advance. Our group opted for Asian set menu 2 for lunch and the duck salads. We had the lemongrass pandan cooler that was thirst quenching. The portions are very generous and the dishes were just appealing to the palates. The whole group was thoroughly pleased with the overall friendly service and food preparation. The duck salad was particularly tasty. We wanted a relaxing holiday with quality family time and that is exactly what we got!! The staff could not have been more helpful from my first email enquiry, through to check in/out and all interactions with staff throughout our stay. We booked the one bedroom Villa Serai with private pool. It was lovely to have our own space to relax in and the villa is really spacious with bedroom/en suite in a separate villa to one side and the kitchen/dining/lounge/separate toilet in another villa joined by a covered deck. It was my husband's birthday so he was pleasantly surprised to find a birthday message, chocolate cake and bottle of sparkling grape juice on arrival. There were also toys set up in the lounge and bathroom for our young son, along with a port a cot. We had booked the meal package with our reservation, we had a choice of 3 different breakfast packages each day, with a buffet breakfast in the Club House on the Sunday morning. Dinner each night was a set menu which included entrees, mains and deserts, they also provide a kids menu that you can order from for the youngsters. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice. The food was really delicious and there was plenty of it! We also had the option of eating in the Club House or our Villa, we chose our Villa as it was more relaxing with our son, they brought everything required and set it up on our dining table, also clearing everything away when we called once we had finished. The kitchen does have a decent sized fridge, cooktop, microwave and toaster, and basic cooking utensils so you can cook some meals if you wanted. We were impressed with the recycling bins in the kitchen which we find rare in Malaysia. The manicured grounds of the entire property are gorgeous with lots of stunning flowers. The peace and quiet was a welcome break from the noise of KL but only a quick 45 minute drive which means it's a great location for a weekend away. The sound of the waterfall running into our private pool was so relaxing and our son loved being able to swim as much as he wanted. My husband enjoyed a massage, whilst I had a facial and body scrub. The treatments were done by the side of our pool whilst listening to the birds. A staff member also happily kept our young son entertained so we could enjoy our treatments at the same time. We had asked for a late check out if possible and were lucky to be able to enjoy the villa until 2pm on Sunday. I would definitely recommend this place and we will certainly be back, but next time will be looking to stay longer.…

We just LOVED this place so much and would have given 10 out of 10. Stayed in the 3-bedroom villa and it is a pure luxury from the moment of opening the entrance till leaving. Having the very yummy breakfasts and dinners served in the villa was an unexpected touch. Cannot wait to return to The Embun villas soon.

What a wonderful short getaway Embun is! It's service was sincere, polished and above expectations, it's garden was well manicured, the villa was tastefully furnished and spotless and the food was simple but very well prepared. Our stay was way too short. Will definitely be back again soon.
