After check in, we inspected bathroom and found and took this. Showed these pictures to the front desk. Front desk called cleaning crew but "after cleaning", Floor surface was wiped but the stains as seen in the pictures remained. As any person who does housework knows - these are easily cleaned with household cleaner like Jif and/or bleach (peluntur) like Clorox with mild scrubbing. This was unfortunately not done. Ended up using slippers in the toilet as was too tired to go back to report.

Very abandoned property, don’t accept credit card, we have to do via transfer, ATM are not available inside property, most of the facilities are not available as they open after pandemic, we paid RM 250 for the room and their is no fridge available in the room. TV was available but decoder was not there so we have to request for one. Tissue boxes was not provided even we ask they said they don’t provide tissue boxes. We had dinner there quality and quantity was okay but extra pricey for the quality and ambiance. They serve buffet breakfast for the in-house guest. But the spread was local. nasi lemak and some sausages, with bread only. Surau facility was there also… Over all it was okay experience other then price.

The hills and air was beautiful. Unfortunately the venue itself was disappointing. The name itself, Spa Resort was very deceiving as it felt more like a 3 star Apartment like accommodation. Some of my colleagues who was on the trip with me hard issues and all was different. The air con was not working, Hot water from the shower was not working. No hairdryer. Towels were dirty. No toohbrush and toothpaste. Food was horrible. We eat so much eggs that we felt it growing from our ears.

Breakfast was bad. Paid 250 per night for a normal room. B/fast was only nasi lemak & mihun goreng with coffee or tea. It’s a buffet, but no mood to eat due to the limited food provided. The rest was okay. 💆🏻‍♀️

Great facilities. Especially for families. While parents enjoying their time with nature, the kids can play with the FUNFAIR!. Only RM25 for more than 10 games and its UNLIMITED guys! You should go!. This Hotel is the highest spot in Janda Baik, so the morning view was superb!

Attended an advance meditation course here. Excellent place that let you escape from the town. The premises is aged, however the fresh air, stunning hill top view and friendly staff definitely gain point, a simple resort with all basic facility and well maintain. There are big convention hall and small function room over there. No comment on the food, as resort catered us with vegetarian meals.

Well, get to know this hotel thru random searching for a weekend trip. While heading to this hotel, the road was quite narrow and we have gone into quite an isolated place...a bit deep location from the main highway. On the way, the nature was beautiful...we saw quite a number of Malay villages. Once we reached there, the hotel was located on top of a small hill. That's why its name has 'Hill' but the 'Spa' was just a disappointed...no spa at all. The staff was polite and quick allocating a room. It has only 2 floors of rooms. Not a huge hotel...but I hope the room was fine.
Once entered the room, everything was quite new...nice & comfy bed, very clean room with 32" LCD TV. The colour was quite earthy and nice..however, it does not have fridge...this was the first time that it does not provide a fridge in a hotel room even there was a compartment for it. When I called to ask the reason, they just replied that all rooms do not have fridge...without reason. The only I could think of was, to save electricity...so, that night, I had warm beers and stouts instead. Furthermore, there has no hair dryer too and bathtub....very unusual for 4 - 5 star rating hotel.
The swimming pools was very square and dull looks. Not attractive at all. Upon checking the surrounding and its facilities, it has only a moutain bike renting and a table tennis game...that's it. When asked about dinner, we need to book first before they could allocate food for us....weird. Anyway, we never had dinner there. The aircond was somehow the noisiest that I had....
In the morning, the air was fresh but really boring. Beside the greeneries, the place was lack of flowers. The breakfast was really plain...nasi lemak, curry chicken, sausage, fried noodle, nasi kunyit, breads etc....really not tasty. All the half boiled eggs were too raw..all guests just put them on the egg counter..there was no scrambled or omelette egg..just plain fried eggs.
This is quite a new hotel but it does not provide add-on value to attract guests to come again. This 'resort' needs to put more effort to stay alive in hotel industry....moreover, i noticed a sign to remind the guests that alcohol is prohibited in the premises...my god..this is Malaysia...a lot of foreigner will be visiting...by doing this..this hotel is limiting its customer ...
However, i never bothered too as I have loaded a number of bottles into the room. Who cares...they never pre-empted us when booking the room.
Overall, that was a boring place..thought they mentioned to visit a nearby river only...I defintely will not be coming back...oh yeah..about the checking out...it was slow as only 1 permanent staff available with the rest were trainees....

Spend two nights here and resort was fairly new but did not seem to be properly managed.

The room was average sized. Decor mismatched with English country style bedside lamps. One lamp had a switch that had been replaced and gave me a minor electrical shock when I switched it on!

The room had cabinet for the minibar fridge but none in room, looked like they did not get the minibar fridge in time or decided to omit it.

Shower head was meant for rain shower but not mounted correctly. Water pressure was low so the overall shower especially with the shower head was not satisfactory.

Breakfast experience was bad as the selection & quality was not good. Only one other table occupied but the service was non-existence! Had to ask for practically everything, no table setting, coffee stale, juice tasted like cordial......not acceptable quality for 4-star hotel.

Its called a Spa & Convention Hotel, however their facilities hardly qualifies them for this category.

Nice pool but over chlorinated, child / wading pool was drained for maintenance.

Not much recreation activities and nothing much happening at hotel. More suited for company retreat and team building.

RM260nett poor value for room, facilities & services. Staff did not know what they were doing and no management staff present.

Many smaller, nicer location in Janda Baik

Recently i went for a business trip Janda Baik, Pahang. This was actually more to team building outing for my company. We reach at the hotel as early as 10am in the morning and was surprised by the warm greeting of the staff. Without anymore delay, we register and check in at the counter. I was stunt as the whole group are allowed to check in early without any issue whereby the standard check in time is only after 2pm. We were told that the staff already standby for everything. We are offered by a warm smile and a cup of tea and coffee before we went to our room. Our group activities was pack for all 3 days. Eventhough our coordinator was late, but the resort staff manage to handle everything from A - Z. Overall experience was great. This is a good place to plan for your business trip especially Team building as there are lots of nature activities offered in this resort.

This was the worst hotel I had ever lived in. First things first, the food is very cold and they didn't even bother to strike a match! Plus the food does not either has quality. And when I had my morning exercise, I need to run around the compound and guess what! The kitchen area has a smelly sulphuric smell. Next there is a pool in this hotel and there are black dirty stuff. I asked whether they used chlorine or not. But instead, they used salt to make a cheap budget. What is this. And the rooms are super chilly and I got sick at the end of my 5D4N trip. The ballroom were cold and I had to suffer even I had a 100% cotton sweater. And their toilets in the room are also a big problem. There was a dead insect there since day 1 and till day 4 the insect is still there still and there are even ants attempting to carry the insect away. Luckily, I splashed water on them and they died. And they do not have a typical shower head and it was only rain showers.the public toilets are also very dirty. I don't think they frequently clean the toilet up cause the rubbish bin is full and no one bothered to throw it away. The toilet seats also had black marks. The authority should inspect this hotel this instance

Hi Vibooshi, You may have to take the taxi from the airport to go there - and it can be expensive. Else you may want to spend some time in KL city before going to the place. I am not sure what is your expectation, but the resort is pretty remote and quiet. Unless you are local, I am not sure if this place is touristic enough for you. The good part is, if you are there, you can also venture to Genting Highlands and Berjaya Hills.
