We have just returned from a weeks holiday to the Althea Village in Crete and didn't want to come home! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by all staff. Spotlessly clean and smart the exterior is impressive and so are all the public areas. Gardens are beautiful and well maintained with an abundance of...

We stayed at this lovely resort last May and are due to go back again in 3 weeks time. The staff were amazing - Stelios, Niko and the whole of the animation team - they met us on arrival and spoke with us every day. Beautiful clean hotel with great facilities and excellent choices of food for each meal. We...

What a fantastic stay we had, the Junior suite was perfect, clean, spacious, just swing open the patio door onto the lovely pool area, cross the road to the complex for the reception, bar and restaurant. The entertainment team were great, there is a walk to the beach that the entertainment team will take you to. You can catch the...

This was our second time at Althea village, we went mid October. Weather brilliant every day. Can not single out a member of staff because they were all brilliant, nothing too much trouble for them to make sure that you had a good holiday. Hopefully will be going again next year, can think of no-where better.

When we first arrived at the hotel I thought I was in the middle of nowhere. Very quickly found we were 150 metres from main road with bus stops close to the bottom.Buses ran regularly and on time and we used them extensively. The Althea Village was a delight. We were in the block across the road from the reception...

We went to Althea village mid october for two weeks with our 18 month old. The weather was great considering the time of year - i think we had one day in two weeks that it was too cold to go to the beach. The hotel was great. The staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Their...

We booked this holiday about 5 weeks before we travelled on 21.10.16 and had no idea that the day we departed was the last day of the season, 28.10.16!!! When we arrived we were given a free upgrade to the suites which are over the road with their own pool...WOW. They are a very good size for a family of...

Despite the disasterous delays on both flights, we were pleasantly surprised by the soup and sandwiches the hotel provided when we did finally got there at close to midnight. A nice start ! Breakfast did not disappoint either. In fact food was average to good all through the week. The salads were a high point every day. Desserts were a...

This really is a gem of a place. I visited on my own at the beginning of October. Locals tell me we were lucky with the weather, hitting 27/28 every day. The hotel was stunning. It had obviously been recently renovated and was spotlessly cleaning and no maintenance issues to be seen. All of the staff were so friendly and...
