We originally booked a 3-night stay, but once we were there, we extended it to 8 nights. Our room was comfortable and spotless. The pool and deck were also spotless, there were lots of loungers and it was never busy. It was great to be just a 1-minute walk to the beach. The breakfast is excellent - lots of variety...

Very welcoming place! Definitely very good value for the money! Extremely friendly staff, I felt they really wanted to make the effort to make my holiday as smooth as possible. Ant the breakfast was superb! For a little hotel with a few stars, it felt like a five star hotel brekkie! Felt like coming home. I want to revisit some...

When booking a room on a small budget, I usually don't expect the hotel to turn out that great. But Yakinthos was amazing! The first impression was of a simple hotel but at the same time very well-maintained and incredibly clean! It's a pity they only offer breakfast which was superb. Fresh orange juice, plenty of fruit, cake, bread, eggs,...

We have just returned from our annual holiday on Crete. This was our seventh trip to the island and consequently our seventh stay at the Yakinthos Hotel. The Yakinthos is a three star establishment located west of Chania on the 4km road to Agia Marina. It is situated just 50 meters from the beaches of Glaros and Agii Apostoli. By...

The Yakinthos hotel was sufficient for our stay. The rooms were very simple and bare. The shower (perhaps traditional in crete) was very odd. The entire bathroom floor was the shower floor with the drain in the middle of the room. The rooms either faced the pool or the street. The top floor may have been able to see the...

We have just returned from the Yakinthos Hotel having spent the majority of our holiday here and cannot praise this hotel highly enough. We were met on arrival with glasses of fresh orange juice and shown to our room which had a lovely view of the garden. Although also looking down onto the side street, the glazing was of such...

This is an excellent small hotel which I think is one of the best I have stayed at in Greece. It is modern, spotless, and run by a cheerful team of ladies who are kind friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious by Greek standards and the fridge is a useful addition. The pool was cold but refreshing; there...

Just a step away from the beach, the hotel is also next to a bus stop that connects you to the center of Chania and to other regions via the green buses. The hotel and its guestrooms are spacious, clean and well furnished. You will get a nice breakfast with local and international dishes. But i most recommend it for...

Stayed here October 2014. Small hotel with pool. When I asked reception for another chair and towels they were delivered to our room within two minutes. Three minute walk to the beach. Small lovely breakfast room with plenty of choice. All hotel staff were nice and helpful. Hotel is on the main road so there is a chance of a...
