We had never been to the Dominican Republic so I did a lot of research prior to finding our ultimate getaway. There are so many all inclusives to choose from, but we hate the idea of sitting on a beach and fighting for buffet food with 300 other people, and then the Palace showed up on my search and we...

First let me start off by saying that this villa is one of the most elaborate and beautiful places I have ever been to. Every single piece of wood in the place is hand carved from India. The villa took 8 years to build and was very well thought out. We stayed on the third floor with a wonderful ocean...

This was our honeymoon trip. We purchased this deal via Living Social. We were looking forward to this for the longest time and everything was soo worth it. We had an oceanview suite (without Jacuzzi) What we loved the most: 1. The Service It was all because of the service that we loved this place even more. The comedy show...

We purchased this trip (6 days) on GroupOn and thought the value for the money was excellent. The Balaji Palace (this is a rarely used name for the "resort" but it is the only way to locate it on the road when trying to find it!) is a BEAUTIFUL place. The grounds and location high atop a cliff overlooking the...

Excellent private beach. You feel like you are in your own private villa with Hotel Service. The peacocks are loud but beautiful...We did not even...

We found this place on Groupon and thought we'd take the chance. We were MORE than impressed with our 6 night-7 day stay at the Palace. We were greeted at the airport by our pre-arranged (by the Palace) taxi driver and Presidente beers! The taxi driver was knowledgeable about the country and answered countless questions. Upon arrival at The Palace,...

My husband and I wanted both adventure and tropical surroundings abroad for our one year anniversary trip. One look at the Balaji Palace’s website and we were sold. The thirteen room mansion was even better in person. It felt like our own private villa complete with attentive staff (a chef, butler, driver and housekeepers) in paradise. ARRIVAL We were happy...

This is a lovely property. It's very romantic, with ocean view rooms that have grand balconies and four poster beds draped in mosquito netting. You can hear the waves roll in at night. The staff is super helpful, with Cynthia being the best. She is always cheerful and a great problem solver. The place is a bit like a spanish...
