We drove from Lucern (Switzerland), heading for Milan but the rain on the night was extreme and so we decided to stay the night somewhere - anywhere - along the route. Through online searches, we found this hotel and the price seemed right as did the location for heading to Lake Como the next day. We booked and aimed to...

We stayed here for 2 nights. The owner was very friendly and told us we could climb mt. Generoso. Drew a map for a very nice walk. And helped us with lots of other things to get around in the village. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, really everthing you need to rest and visit the surrounding mountains...

This family-run hotel is located in the mountains between Lugano and Como, With an amazing view from the private balcony of each room. The hotel is just 20 minutes drive to Como lake. The room was big and clean, good breakfast, the price is very reasonable and the hospitality by Christopher was very kind and warm!!! Near the hotel there...

Great price, fantastic homemade genuine Italian cooking. Great hospitality, wonderful views high up in the hills above Lake Como. We had super time there and would make a point of returning in the future.

It was late and we had not booked anything, but decided to let the GPS handle our hotel choice. The Valle Intelvi has seen its better days and most of the guests are eldery people from Milan, but the rooms were large and clean. The bath rooms well equipped, clean and well functioning. I hate, when you have to struggle...
