Stayed here with a bunch of friends on a Baja Moto trip. Awesome rooms, amazing history, cool owner, friendly staff. I went hiking in the surrounding hills in the morning, which was beautiful. Clean swimming pool and great outdoor areas to hang out. Highly recommend!! Also: wifi!

Stayed here, in Oct., for 1 night during a 500 mile Offroad adventure. It's a working cattle ranch that also caters to Offroaders and hunters. The rooms are what you might expect for a ranch...3 to 4 beds to a room with bathroom and wood burning stove. Nice, but not a four seasons...remember it's a working cattle ranch. The evening...

16 of us drove up to the ranch on the Razor Jeep road, I don't recommend this route for the weak at heart. We had no reservations and there were several bikers staying at the ranch so we had to double up on our rooms. No problem. We had our own food and enjoyed the BBQ pit and long picnic...

We came in the hard way on Razors and were pretty beat hoping they had rooms and could make dinner for us. Thankfully they did and what a great experience, the rooms aren't fancy but very clean and comfy. Dinner was family style all home cooked and since it was Friday they served a fish dish that was the #@@$$**#@...

is what you're looking for, you've found the right place! Leave your blow dryers and fancy shoes at home - this is a place to relax. We read by the pool, lounged under the huge shade tree, hiked the hills and valleys (even found a beautiful waterfall!) and hung out with the ranch horses, goats and dogs. The accommodations are...

Rancho El Coyote Meling is situated at the top of the San Telmo valley at about 4000' above sea level. The views surrounding the ranch and the history here make visiting well worth it even without the exceptionally good hunting. The ranch is a working cattle ranch owned by a portion of the Meling family and run by Alfredo and...

A friend made reservations for two days in May at this ranch which he had previously visited. It sits at around 4000' elevation and thus is cool with dry, clear and clean air, especially enjoyable as the weather heats up in May at sea level. A lovely drive from the Pacific coast, ascending gradually and no traffic. No 4 wheel...

We arrived via a back road after cresting a ridge in my friend's 4X4 Jeep. A sign said Rancho El Coyote. Arriving at the ranch house and were greeted by Jovita Meling, the friendly hostess and her daughter, Julieta. She happily showed us around and set us up for the afternoon enjoying the pool. We decided to return in a...
