Wonderful location on the edge of the canal and river, the property is old and interesting but also dated and needs a good old fashioned clean and freshen up! Room was ok, tv was tiny and my shower did not work properly, otherwise fine. Chose to eat a burger in the evening which to be honest was terrible, arrived in...

We have used the Dundas many times over about 20 years when visiting relatives. About 4 years ago the long term private ownership ended and it became part of a group. It is in a perfect location on the banks of the Kennet and Avon canal. Lovely walks and a pleasant village. It was the perfect compromise between a popular...

My daughter and I stopped off in Kintbury on our way from North East Essex to Somerset. I had booked a night at The Dundas Arms. I had grown up in the village and had passed The Dundas Arms numerous times but of course had never had a reason to stop there. This was my first opportunity to do so...

Charming extended inn on a peninsular between two waterways. Bonus of a renowned restaurant adjoining. Well-situated for canal-side walks, fishing and other countryside pursuits - theoretically in some of the rooms you could fish from your window!

Nice locarion and open fire in the comfy lounge . Room and bathroom clean but some of the electrical items were not working as the should have been, we pointed this out to staff before we left. On reflection, evening meal was overpriced but it was tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful but service was a little...

Stayed here as only place in village and for sentimental reasons. Unfortunately the room was not ready. Given the check in time and only having a handful of rooms it should have been. Apologies made by lovely staff, but should really have been offered a free drink whilst waiting half an hour. The cot was not clean. So had put...

The pub itself is in a lovely location and is nicely done out with friendly staff. The only let down is the food, which was nowhere near as good as it needed to be for the price. At 1.30pm on a Saturday they had run out of chunky chips for our fish and chips, so we got overcooked fries instead,...

We stayed here as a bit of a treat following a sporting event which I had competed in Kent. On the way back it occurred to us that we hadn't actually booked a table (though we had a room) so we called up, only to be told that they had had problems with a delivery so there was a limited...

This pub is set in a beautiful location, with a warm friendly atmosphere and the food is delicious . They do a steak night on Thursdays, which is great value .Our steaks were cooked to perfection. It was my daughters 6th birthday and they made her feel so special. A big thank you, to all the staff. Highly recommend a...

Went for lunch with a friend who lives in Lambourn but who had never been here. Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Large car park opp the pub - you need a token from the bar to get out. We both had Caesar salads - chicken & crayfish. Lemon posset and ice cream to follow. Great coffee too. The garden is...
