We stayed here whilst walking the Cotswold Way, for which it is very convenient. We had a clean, spacious and comfortable double with private (not ensuite) bathroom. Limitless hot water, excellent after a long walk. Good, free wi fi. The local pub wasn't doing food that night (we checked when we walked by) but no problem. We picked up a...

We did not choose this accommodation, it was done through the company that booked The Cotswold Way for us so they were all a mixed bag. In Kings Stanley there is not a lot of places to stay. The hosts provided us with an adequate breakfast and we asked to have it early as we were to walk 15 miles...

When you've signed up for any long distance path, finding an accommodation right on the route is always a bonus, made better when it's found to be clean and comfortable with readily available hot water for that much needed bath/shower at the end of the day.

Very nice place to stop after a long day on the Cotswold Way. Room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and beds were comfortable. Owners were friendly and happy to accommodate our veganism. We had a nice breakfast and plenty of soy milk for tea and coffee in our room. Highly recommended!

A bit difficult to find but hosts helpful in getting there. Nice and clean accommodation and helpful with tips for the day's walk. Unlike others, did not receive any information on food options but it was fairly late by the time I arrived and perhaps nothing was available by then.

Pleasant welcome from accommodating hosts. A little difficult to find as it's set back off the road. Room was basic but pleasant with views into the delightful garden. Not en- suite but private use of adjoining bathroom and toilet. Excellent breakfast with some home made produce such as Honey and Marmalade. Welcome advice on a short cut back onto Cotswolds...

I was accorded a warm welcome by my hosts, which was much appreciated as I was very tired having walked 18 miles (reading on my GPS) that day. A lovely cottage, and a great room with en-suite bathroom. Sunday is a problem in King's Stanley as the local pub does not do meals. But I was driven to an excellent...

We were warmly welcomed after a long walk on The Cotswold Way, and shown to our lovely twin room. Although there's no TV in the room, it doesn't matter as there's free wifi. We purchased dinner at the local Chinese place and bought it back and ate in the dining room. Breakfast was cooked to order and lovely ( loved...

While walking the Cotswold Way we stayed one night at Orchardene. Our room was spacious and had a lovely hot shower which was really a treat to have after walking all day. Upon arrival we were given freshly made tea and cake and invited to sit outside in their back garden. Our hosts were very friendly and informative about their...

Part of our group stayed here while hiking the Cottswold Way. Orchardene is a small B&B, and the experience is liking staying in the spare room at the home of a British relative (and that's a good thing!). The innkeepers were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was locally sourced and excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and it...
