Enjoyed a delicious evening meal at this restaurant. The service was very good, the prices were reasonable and the surroundings were very attractive. I would definitely recommend this hotel as somewhere to have a nice meal.

Like a lot of places in Madagascar, could be better, minimal effort by Staff and crew to provide quality service, which is to be expected considering the training and pay they probably receive. Walking distance to most places in FTU. Restaurant doesn't take hours, which is always good. Had a good experience in 2006 with ordering a car and an...

This is the mother of all hotels in Tolagnaro--having been the standby for years. It's daughter--Le Croix de Sue--up the street is a subsidiary and has newer facilities. However, if you want to experience old colonial French charm, this is the hotel for you. Good southern French cuisine. Don't miss out on the shuttle to the Berenty nature reserve. Good...

Only stayed for one night. However was a pleasant evening. Very quiet hotel, as is apparently a sister hotel to le croix up the road, which is supposedly newer and more up to date. However had a pleasant evening. Room was nice, aircon, plenty of hot water. Wifi in rooms, as well as a mini bar, if needed. The food...

Being forced overnight here after the long drive from Berenty Park. The hotel is good and has the basic things you need. The restaurant was really good. Great service and really good airport transportation.

We were downgraded to Le Dauphin from the Croix du Sud before visiting Berenty. The hotel is in dire need of maintenance. In our room, air con did not work and the loo did not flush away. Swimming pool was empty. Breakfast very poor, dinner average.

We spent 2 nights here (due to flight availabilty) after visiting Berenty and were very pleased. Le Dauphin is next door to La Croix du Sud (newer with an South Seas/Asia look and is favored by tour groups) and is owned by the same family. The owners are French and Le Dauphin hotel and food reflects this. Arrangements for visiting...
