I will write down pros and cons for this trip (which I`ve discussed--LOL, with my partner) CONS: - They don`t have (or at least they have but very, very limited) ala carte meals. Since this is the type of resort wherein it`s mandatory to pay for an additional cost for the meal (lunch and dinner managed buffet), during merienda, the... More

The Coco Grove Resort is a large property; there are 30 cabins for overnight visits and the Resort says it can handle as many as 2,000 people for day time activities. We visited midweek (Tuesday through Thursday) during the off season and largely had the resort to ourselves. We stayed in a "tree house" at the waters edge and enjoyed... More

I am writing this review as I am having coffee at the balcony of Treehouse #3. Languidly staring at the gentle waves lapping at the shore just a few steps from our deck. We checked in at around 3pm, effortlessly, and was promptly given a room right along the beach, one of their smaller treehouses. The property was almost empty... More

The place was amazing and had undergone some improvements since my last visit in 2008. I booked a poolside cottage and a treehouse room. Upon checking in, the staff were very sensitive to my father's needs. He was in a wheelchair, so they changed his assigned room to a PWD-friendly one. This was a poolside cottage with a wheelchair ramp... More

A chill out place. Had a great time with family. We were welcomed by the courtesies staff with tasty bukoo juice. The family room is good for 8 adults and very close to the swimming pool. The beach area on the resort itself is filled with algae. But they have beautiful white beach with lot of water activities within a... More

My fiancee and I went to Laiya Coco Grove on a Monday to avoid the crowd. It was also very rainy in Manila so when we arrived at the resort, there were only about two other couples staying. We stayed at the couple tree house, and here's my review: Pros: We barely saw other people which made our stay really... More

The place was nice and relaxing. It's quiet, and sorrounded by trees, has a pool and a play area. The food was generally good. We stayed in a tree house fronting the beach. The only downside was the beach. the water is shallow and a bit muddy. You can go to a better beach area and use their shuttle which... More

I have visited different exclusive and premier resorts in the Philippines and other countries but this was the first time I've encountered a very poor customer service. We did not stay overnight in this resort but we took a Tree house as a place to stay and rest whilst in the resort. First encounter was fine, we paid everything as... More
