My partner and I celebrated our 9th yr. anniversary. The place is quiet, relaxing and very homey, you will also enjoy the pool area and read book because of its ambiance. The food was good also and thanks for the unlimited coffee :) we enjoyed our stay though were non-divers maybe next time will try.

We, my partner and I, commuted to the resort from Manila. Upon entering the resort we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the resort was and the view it had to offer. We stayed overnight and had full board meals. The room is very very spacious and very comfortable. It had a King sized bed, a porch, a TV and...

Chanced upon this listing on the Internet; as my wife is pregnant we wanted a place with a nice pool and nothing that requires much in terms of hill climbing (the Anilao area can have a lot of vertical accommodations). Was very pleased with the accommodations: just 15 rooms and each one well appointed with a generous amount of space...

Stayed overnight with friends and we were so happy with the place-- quiet, peaceful, the food-- well-prepared, enjoyable buffet. This is not the place if one wants an ala-boracay atmosphere (lots of people and party = noisy). This is a place to chill, relax and enjoy the sea and the outdoors. Wifi is non-existent but seriously, we intentionally drove for...

Wifi not working, have to use data plan for the entire stay. Breakfast served late, maybe because staff woke up and set up late. Overpriced food, ala carte @ P400/order, buffet @ P600 lunch, P650 dinner. No nearby foodie spots.

I learned how to dive in Bambu Villa. It was very convenient because they have their own dive shop just a few steps from the room. The staff has been most helpful in finding a dive instructor for me and a boat to the dive spots. The rooms are spacious and have just been recently renovated. The beds and sheets...

If you're looking for a place to just relax, read a book by the pool, hear the sound of waves, go snorkeling, dive and be taken care of, this is a great place to be. HOWEVER if you're looking for a place to party...go to Boracay. This place is for those who want to quietly settle down in a nook...

This hotel caters to divers and it about stops there, if you are not diving, don't go. Bambu is about 2.5 hours South of Manila, so relatively convenient by local standards. However even then it would be nice to see the place spruced up a bit, a bit more initiative by the personnel and probably some training would help. The...

As with most other resorts in Anilao area, Bambu Villa Resort caters primarily to divers. It offers a comfortable and convenient location to stage diving trips. Those looking for a nice beach front with fine sand will be disappointed. They have a good-sized infinity pool with nice views although the water appeared murky during our visit. The plus points: -...
