The owners were absolutely lovely. They were welcoming, always tried their best to answer questions and had oodles of patience. When I asked to check out late and they had to say no because another guest was arriving they were genuinely sorry. My room was an apartment with bedroom, living area, kitchen area, bathroom and private balcony with stunning views....

We were spending a couple of days exploring the Taha villages and the 'green sheep' made a pleasant base. Our little apartment was fairly basic but comfortable enough and reasonable value at €70 a night. Having booked a room with a mountain view we were a bit disappointed to be given a garden level apartment as nothing was available on...

If you want a nice hotel with wonderful rooms, go to La Oveja Verde. The view over the Taha villages is great. Your hike starts at the hotel. In the village there are bars, restaturants and a super market.

The apartment we hired for a weekend was very quiet, clean and cosy. Everything was okay, the staff was very friendly and the restaurant "El Puerto", that is integrated to the hotel, was good. The hotel is situated on the main street but as the rooms have views to the mountains on the other side (garden), you dot hear any...

OK- so we love this place! We have been every year since we first found it in 2012, and it never disappoints. The apartments are great, the hosts are wonderful and the views are amazing. Pitres is more of a "real" village than many in the area, but has a lot of useful shops including a good small supermarket. The...

Very nice hotel, with baby friendly facilities, like a swimming pool separated by a fence. Good restaurant, within babyphone reach. Friendly staff, nice views (especially the higher level rooms) and perfect starting point for hikes into the Alpujarres.

We enjoyed very much our stay for one week early June 2014. The apartment on the upper floor (No.6) was spacious, clean and airy. Every morning or every time we step out of the apartment, we were greeted with the pleasant scent of blooming jasmine. There is a jasmine plant downstairs and an updraft from the hall and the stairs...

We stayed here a week and had a lovely time. Our room was on the ground floor and we slightly wished that the hedges could have been trimmed more so that we could enjoy the fabulous views from our terrace, rather than needing to go up to the bar terrace. However this and the rather basic cooking facilities were the...

Nice holiday base for a short break - great for walking. Picturesque mountain villages. Decent size apartments with adequate cooking facilities. Apartments are clean and fresh. Fresh water swimming pool. Great views from balcony. I would definitely recommend.

We went to the Oveja Verde for a week. Not going to be a long review, because there is only so much you can say. The location is perfect, with a stunning view. The staff is very nice, and speaks English if you want. The room was big enough for two, and very clean. It contains everything for cooking and...
