We called in with a friend after a visit to Sunnycroft, the National Trust Property just up the road. Although it was busy it was still possible to enjoy good conversation in a quiet corner. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and it was really good to see a wide range of more imaginative vegetarian choices. The food was...

Popped in for a drink after work (5:30ish) and was pleasantly surprised to be charged less than a fiver for two pints of cider! It must have been happy hour, though I didn't see any signs to indicate it. Lovely pub, nice decor, friendly staff. I've been in before for a hot chocolate (delicious!) and a quick bite for lunch...

Popped in for lunch. Very nice venue, quiet and small rooms. Great menu with range of small meals to full meals. Quite good vegetarian selection. My wife ordered the vegetarian toad in the hole which came with salad, seasonal veg or chips - she very cheekily asked if there was mashed potato available could she have that. Waiter returned to...

We recently caught up with old friends and decided to meet at The Old Orleton Inn as we had not been there for several years. On arrival we were surprised by how few people were there as at one time it was very busy. We all ordered something different but for my starter I had the garlic mushrooms They were...

Been here before but only to have dinner as every time we visited friends The Old Orleton was fully booked for rooms. This time though, with plenty of advanced booking , we managed to book the four poster room and dinner for four. Arrived to be greeted warmly by Paul ( there are 2 of them 😄) seemlessly booked in...

We stayed here recently on a visit to see family. This restaurant with rooms is smart and efficiently run. The rooms were warm and comfortable and the bar and dining rooms had a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Food was good and the Full English Breakfast amazing!

Lovely lunch menu, including several choices without garlic which was great for me (they also had lots with garlic for those who want it). The quality of the meal was outstanding. Very helpful staff, great beers to choose from.

My wife and I had a great relaxing 2 night stay in January 17. There was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with excellent food and a nice selection of wine. The service was superb throughout and the breakfast was great quality and huge. The room was lovely with a massive bed and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Thank you to all...

We had a lovely stay here at the weekend. The attention to detail at the property is lovely and it is very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is also delicious! The bar and restaurant are good to have on site as there didn't seem to be much in the immediate area. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here for 1 night and wanted to stay another, it is so relaxing and friendly, the evening meal and service were perfect. It has been a long time since we have experienced food of this high standard and cooked to perfection. The staff are lovely and there was no rushing us to finish each course. The high standard...
