Stayed at this hotel for one night on 1st September. It was a perfect find. Beautifully clean. The twin-bedded room we had was quite small but extremely comfortable, very nicely decorated & again very clean. Nice touches = fresh flowers, toiletries, dressing gowns, slippers, tea & coffee with added cookies & chocolates. The meal in the evening was excellent, couldn't...

We went for a weekend break and stayed at The Old Orleton, it is a lovely hotel, and you can expect a warm welcome from every member of staff. Lovely clean comfortable rooms with every thought to detail. The garden is beautiful with plenty of seating areas and when we visited all the summer display of flowers and hanging baskets...

I've really enjoyed the stay here. Nice room, double bed with coffee and tea maker plus mineral water for free. The bathroom was new renovated in an excellent European stile. The restaurant was also excellent as well the breakfast. If I ever had the chance I'll stay here again.

We had visited previously about 5 years ago so decided on a return visit for our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed, the rooms are still lovely, huge comfortable bed. Everywhere is extremely clean. The food choice was perhaps slightly more limited than on our last visit but still delicious (though a bit on the expensive side). Excellent service. Our...

Surprising because we were booked into the Cock Hotel - but pleasantly !! A warm welcome and bags carried up to the room (6), which was on the small side but immaculately decorated, tray of biscuits, chocolates, kettle and coffee/tea selection. The bathroom was small with only a weak fixed shower head (a flexible head would be an improvement) although...

Stayed midweek for two nights and enjoyed a relaxed and friendly break. The bedroom and bathroom were excellent and the standard of the breakfast and dinner was high. Thoroughly recommend a stay here. It is a convenient location for getting to Shropshire beauty spots and National Trust properties. Hoping to stay there again before too long!
