Antequera, Spain

Rather large site with exit or areas for children, complete with pool, visited in daylight this time so able to take a really good look at this magnificent site, bar staff still require some training. Waitresses were very attentive with a good knowledge of the food they were serving, very relaxing with clean facilities.

We stayed one night only, would have happily stayed longer. The room was very clean, comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. House white extremely palatable and the steak was probably the best I've had in years. Breakfast was good with plenty of decent coffee and a good selection of preserves to go with the toast. Will certainly stay...

Whilst travelling around this area with friends, we stopped off to have lunch at this lovely rustic/rural hotel. The menu del dia was good wholesome food and reasonably priced. I am a vegetarian and although there was nothing on the menu to suit, they managed to revamp the dishes to cater for my needs. Would definitely eat here when next...

Stayed there with my family of four children. Place was perfect, we only stayed there for one night. Restaurant food was superb and the staff fantastic. Will come back if need to stay in the area again.

Stayed here for one night on Thursday 11th April. Business trip again. Very typically Andalucian, helpful staff and comfortable place to stay. Sofia (reception) very helpful and friendly as were the staff in the bar/restaurant. Could only stay one night as had clients to see in Antequera. Would definitely stay again. Sure it will be even nicer when the pool...

I won't repeat the descriptions of the building given in other reviews here because I certainly concur with those. However our experience of staying there differs somewhat. We had to refuse the first room offered because it stank of cigarette smoke in spite of the signs in Reception banning smoking anywhere in the building. Although we had booked many weeks...

My family lives in the area, so we have stayed at this place often for family weddings and the like. It has also improved a lot in the last years, as it began as a small posada and was grown in size and quality. But deep down it is a local business run in a region where only as of...

At first I did not know what you mean by no Central European hospitality mentality, offends me because we are very hospitable and friendly with our customers and our motto is to feel at home. what the kettle is not something you have because being in a three star hotel, might well have asked for a glass of boiled water...

The hotel is particularly attractive from the outside with a large, imposing white building and a sandy courtyard before it with large planters, trees and tables. The courtyard is surrounded by a large wall and giant sturdy wooden door which leads to an ample car park for visitors. There is a swimming pool outside and an outside bar but it...

“You may have to make multiple efforts to get a reply when trying to book. Not sure that there are any good rooms but go and look before accepting. Don't rely on wi-fi in bedrooms because the only place we could get it was one corner of the bar.”
