We were sadly held up by roadworks and arrived at the farm (which IS easily findable on Google Maps) in the dark. We checked in and went into Malaybalay to have dinner at Isabella's. After that we had coffee in the veranda which overlooks a small valley, fireflies and cicades entertaining us, with the distant voices and flashlight of kids...

Loved our stay here! The lodge was very charming - made me wish I had a house like it! The view at the deck gave us what we love - trees, mountains and fresh air! Our son, who loves carnivorous plants, thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the pitcher garden, and loved looking at the venus fly traps and sundews. He...

This is a late review. We went here on October 2013. We stayed in a studio with kitchenette that was spacious, clean, well groomed and had a great view outside. Located a few minutes away from the main city, it was a nice place to unwind and just appreciate nature. Although air conditioning is not available, they have an electric...

Dear visitors, In the meantime we have street names, we are in Sario Street. It is a straight 400m walk from the bus/highway (Sayre/AH26) to our farm/sign, plus it is the needed distance from the highway to be not disturbed by loud trucks etc. Remember, it is cool and scenic here and then 400m is really not much compared to...

I stayed one night while travelling in Bukidnon and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The owner, Volker is most knowledgeable and explains in detail about his substantial carnivorous plant nursery. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and self contained. Access is easy as Volker can email an accurate and easy to follow, location map. Highly recommended

How is this even called a hotel when if you have a party of say 15 people, you couldn't all be accommodated. Their lodging is confined to one house, divided into three - a "basement", the first floor, and the second floor. One house. Something is not right here. We took a drive over there to check out the place....

We are somewhat saddened to get a negative review by a person who didn't even stay in our farm, but of course he does have a point that a person looking for a room in a lively urban setting with typical hotel conveniences might be at the wrong place here, as we are more catering to nature lovers who prefer...

We drove there from Davao City which is about 5 hrs. Be sure to do this at daytime because the road is not always perfect and, besides, the views are very nice. The farm was rather difficult to find in the darkness and rain. Next morning I was amazed by how nice this place is. The cottages are spacious and...

The Pitcher Plant Farm was actually the type that hubby and I were looking for, as we both love nature. Our room had fridge, heater, toaster, cozy bed, hot and cold shower, and wonderful pieces of wood furniture. The owner was generous to share their fruits around. We have had this "pick all you can" for free. If you need...

Its not everyday you get to be picked by a young foreigner in his electric car in a busy bus terminal, and by the way...who ever said an electric car was slow?? Believe me the ride to the farm is spirited, dodging trike taxis in Malaybalay's small elevated winding streets up to the farm's steep driveway, by then you already...
