A great place to relax and enjoy the sun. Lovely swimming pools and a great Italian restaurant. Best to hire a car and enjoy the local area. Lots of friendly local people in the bars, we really enjoyed the live music in the cocktail bar.

We've becoming to La Torre for 5 years so experience has shown us where to go and where not to. I understand the reviews saying the site is remote, but I disagree. It's 15 min from the beach by car, 20 minutes to plenty of other beaches such as San Pedro, Mil Palmeras etc.. It's also 15 min in the opposite...

We stayed in a nice 2 bed 1 bath penthouse apartment in Mero which was very nice and had everything we needed inc central heating ! it was very chilly on a night and the odd day when we stayed in late February. The resort is vast but there are not many amenities open, the Irish bar and Italian restaurant...

Returning to La Torre for the third time this year. Have stayed in the same apartment each time so can't speak for any others. The resort is very well maintained, has great pools and enough facilities in site to cater for daily needs. On our first visit we did not have a car and coped fine. The supermarket is well...

This is the neighbouring golf resort next to las Terazas . The course is designed by jack Nicholas too. We have been before for a wonder in the high season when the shops and bars are open. We nipped in for a pint and a nosey. Friendly staff. Bar and seating area over looking the course. Small park for young...

We stayed here for 2 weeks in September and the accommodation (although slight issue with broken beds on the balcony) was really comfortable. We hired a car and would recommend. The resort is clean and felt really safe. Underground parking good once you get used to it. The 2 pools were excellent and very clean. Large shop on site and...

The villa wasn't huge but it was very well laid out , it had a terrace for sunbathing, a private pool bbq, table tennis and parking space , a spar nearby kept all the essentials especially some very decent red wines at very reasonable prices , the down side if there was one was I think we visited at the...

We had a holiday in a family member's apartment in the resort in September. A well maintained complex on the whole but in need of much attention and investment in hotel/ restaurant areas. As a purely golfing trip, this is an excellent venue. However, certainly not as a 'great' holiday destination! A car is absolutely essential as the resort is...

We spent a week in 2 bed apartment in late October. The accommodation was OK but due to the original developers going bust there are some issues. First the Intercontinental Hotel has been closed for several years, so one the focus places is no longer. Out of season it is quiet, so limited restaurants on site. The Nicklaus designed course...

Great service from Jose and the staff. Drinks always replenished and glasses taken away, drinks served with snack of nuts and crisps. Good choice of food on the menu, from burger, pasta and paninis and all served with either chips or salad. Service is always quick and food fresh and piping hot. Great views from the terrace, plenty of tables...
