We stayed overnight and had an afternoon and a morning tour. Its a small reserve but you are able to get up close to the animals and the drivers are knowledgeable and obliging for those who want to take photos or ask lots of question. The chalet accommodation was comfortable, the food was OK, although the BBQ was a bit...

We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights, participated in 4 safari tours as well as the cheetah interaction and honestly had the time of our lives. The safari tours were spectacular (our guide, Chantelle, is the best - funny, knowledgeable, accommodating and super patient even though we asked approximately a bajillion questions). You get unbelievably close to the animals and...

It's been a year since we visited this place and I am still coming to terms with the hospitality aspect of it. We classified the food as inedible. The food was described as signature food however we and most of our fellow guests thought it was laughable. When plates go back into the kitchen with one bite taken then owners...

The tours are top notch and deserving of 5 stars. The accommodations not so much. We are manned on staying for 2 nights but left after one. The accommodations were probably 3 stars, but that would only be if there was water. There wasn't enough water to flush a toilet or brush your teeth for the time we were there....

We did the overnight stay we had two bedroom lodge which was better than expected compared to other reserve we have been to in the area. Food was great had time to laze by the pool before the first safari. Saw all the big five, don't expect huge numbers of animals 2 hippos, 2 rhinos, 2 elephants. If you driving...

If you have to do one Safari close to Cape Town, it has to be Inverdoorn. And if you do Inverdoorn, make the experience magical by taking the Kuganha tented camp package. It met everything we expected of a "glamping" experience! The three tents were a ride away from the main resort area. Not exactly sure if they were in...

My husband has always wanted to go on safari so for his 40th birthday we booked a 2 night stay at Inverdoorn staying in the Kuganha tented camp followed by a 2 night stay at Aquila in a premier cottage. From the first minute of arriving at Inverdoorn everything was perfect. We were driven round to the Kuganha tented area...

This trip is our first to Africa and we wanted an introduction to Safari style experiences. This appeared to be the best within driving distance of Cape Town, we had hoped to stay an evening but the accommodation was full so we opted for the 10am day Safari. This is about 2.5 hours from Cape Town, predominantly driving the N1...
