As many have already stated, this is not a 4/5 star, glamorous resort. Its location is superb, my room (deluxe bungalow) was large, comfortable, well lit, and mosquito free. We did feel like there was an unpleasant odor coming from the toilet, but it was...More

I would get your hotel to organize airport pickup for you. It will cost a bit more (around 1500 THB) but is far less complicated. You cannot drive all the way, and will be transferred to a longboat for the last leg. If you organize it yourself you may find yourself being dropped off at the water's edge with your luggage, and you will have to wade through shallow water (with your luggage) , and then drag your luggage along the beach through the sand!
