Very unsure what all the negative reviews are about on here. Admittedly the rooms are relatively basic but Railey has so much to offer, we were hardly in our room. For £11 a night, I don't think you can fault this place at all. The...More
Stayed for 5 nights and only have good things to say. Very good for travellers and families as the rooms are cheap but has the feel of a more expensive hotel. The rooms are basic but clean and the setting is amazing underneath a huge...More

Horrible welcome in all senses of the term , a lot of diffilcult to access the place.
Nothink for the children except the pool.
The beatch front of the hotel is only made of brow pebbles or stones impassable.
The adveŕtisement in very untrue.

That isn't at all surprising - the resort doesn't put much emphasis at all on guest relations. You will almost certainly be able to find a taxi to take you to the Ao Nammao pier (I'm almost certain this is the correct pier) from the airport. If you want to go even cheaper, take a 'SongTaeow' converted pickup truck. Once you land on Railay, you will need to walk to the hotel, but it isn't far - just turn right down the beach, and follow the path pretty much until the end.
Don't expect too much from this place.
