Nice hotel with average sized rooms and basic facilities. Cleaned every day. Bar doesn't serve alcohol until 1pm and was closed by 11pm.on a Sunday. Nice restaurant serving various meals, snacks. Friendly helpful staff if you need assistance, shame about the location as it's on a motorway 15 mins from Exeter. Ok if you drive but for a taxi it's...

The hotel was easy to get to judt off the A38. Rooms are in blocks away from main building but dont worry umbrellas are provided in the room. Rooms were not as big as say premier inn but were clean, comfortable and toiletries provided. The breakfast was good and service from the staff excellent. They serve food all almost all...

3 star hotel laid out as a motel. Clean room but the devil is in the detail. Or in other words, if you look closely you will find fault. En suite very clean and modern with clean towels and free toiletries. Bar area clean and modern and cosy seating. Drinks very fair prices. Free parking, free wi-fi, free full English...

Excellent room, compact but very clean and up-to-date. Excellent breakfast, really good value for money. Brilliant stopping point from London and base to access Devon. It is only a few hundred metres from the main road - but there was no sound of traffic in the room. It looks a bit like a motel rather than a hotel. Having said...

We met at the hotel for a family meal, all coming from different directions so it was a good meeting point. Although there were 9 of us there were only 2 other people dining so there was no atmosphere. We all wanted carvery but as a vegetarian I was expecting a nut roast or similar option. The vegetarian option was...

We went here for one night. I can see that it would be very useful for contractors/commuters/business trips and for an overnight stop to break up journey, it what it really isn't is a "holiday" or break away hotel. It is comfortable , clean and the staff are friendly. I do agree with a previous reviewer who said she would...

So I stayed here for two nights and whilst the staff were accommodating my experience is different from other reviews. As a woman on business I felt quite intimidated . This hotel is well used by contractors and both morning I was the only woman at breakfast in a restaurant full Of male contractors. I never saw any other business...

Recomend the Mixed Grill, really good quality, stick to cornflakes for breakfast as the sauages are tough with no taste and they charge extra to make it a little bigger. Staff really great, there are a few pubs localy that are worth a visit, the hotel can help with taxi numbers and the taxi companys are fair on price.
