Stayed here in 2016 and was looking forward to returning with my husband. Had to change rooms on the 2nd night as the bathroom was stupidly cold and the curtains were too short to cut the draft coming in under the bay windows. 2nd room was nice, but not as nice as the one we had booked, and in this...

Stayed overnight after our celebratory meal as did three of our guests. We had three rooms in total in the lodge. Lovely rooms, well appointed and no issues. The outlook from the rooms is over countryside. There is an outside sitting area for the summer when it arrives. Very attractive former farmhouse. Where others get the idea of an industrial...

Really enjoyed a relaxed overnight stay at Brasteds with an excellent meal in the restaurant. Lovely spacious room, delicious food and impeccable service. The village of Framingham Pigot is quite picturesque and worth a look. Takes 20 -30 minutes to walk to the church along quiet lanes, a pleasant pre-dinner amble.

My husband and I booked to come here for an anniversary break. I booked via hotels.com, where I saw fabulous pictures of what looked like a castle, or stately county house. When we arrived to what looked like someone's house, perched in a (albeit countryside) business park, we were not sure we had the right place! We even had to...

Pros; Fantastic staff, comfy beds, gorgeous rooms, The snug, honesty bar etc etc Cons; I arrived late so didn't get longer time here! :( Home from home, I haven't stayed in a hotel where I've been made to feel this welcome in a long time. Booked this last minute to get away from the daily grind and so glad we did. We stayed in JB's room and dined in the restuarant which is of the highest standard. The service was exemplary which other establishments could learn from. Our special thanks to Ashley who greeted us on arrival, at dinner and again at breakfast the next...
