Rooms smelt like wet dirty socks very little upkeep. We had to ask for a bar of soap as its not supplied. Sheets had stains on them. There was a bar and restaurant but it looks like it never opens. If you can go some place else

I travelled here for work and my employer put me up in this hotel for the 5 days I was in town. The negative: -CRT TV with about 5 fuzzy Foxtel channels, most of which where sport -Toilet had a lot of trouble refilling -Dated decor -Tidy but not clean, stains in carpet and on couch, dirt build up in...

I stayed here a couple weeks ago. I stayed on the ground floor, room was immaculate, clean, modern, and staff we're friendly and helped out with anything I needed. I will recommend this motel to anyone travelling through the area.

This is a suitable place to say if all you're after is somewhere air conditioned with a shower and a clean bed, which is what most who stay in Moranbah (that is, mine workers) want. But if you're after anything extra, try elsewhere. If you're a light sleeper, you won't like the slamming doors and other activity associated with the...

Moranbah is a city, where most people come to work from abroad in the coal mines. This place is designed to meet the needs of this travelers. The rooms are very basic, clean and you can wash your laundry - that´s it. Service is very nice and helpful, internet works only with cable. Compared to other places designed for the...

Accommodation is good with plenty of room, beds are clean n comfy. My real gripe is the food: dinner of salmon, salad and chips was just not acceptable. Fish was tasteless, chips although they were hot they were fried in oil that should have been discarded a long time ago! The side salad was fresh but covered in mayo😣. No...

Room adequate. No wifi. Clean, comfortable with no frills. Check in good and friendly staff. Went for meal, initially staff interested but seemed to be more focused in their own conversation. I had rib eye fillet. Aka scotch fillet which was dubious and seemed to be made up of segments. I didn't eat it and wasn't asked why. No offers...

Bessa block walls, flat, uncomfortable pillows and a CRT television, so no plugging in your USB stick or laptop to watch anything. No microwave. This place is like stepping back in time to the early 90s. Considering the price tag, I ecpected modern conveniences like and LCD TV and a microwave, hard to believe this place is only a few...

Remembering that you are in Central Queensland in a mining town. Everything is capital city + 25-30% minimum. So for $200 per night + another $40 for dinner and drinks at the in house restaurant, I reckon it is pretty good value for money. Room was clean and fresh and the bar staff were very friendly.Breakfast of freshly cooked bacon...

I stayed here as I had a bad experience at The Outback Motel (exactly the same experience) only to find out they have the same owners. Cleaners are pushing you out before 8am, cleaners will even walk into your room while you are showering and ask how long you will be. When I tried to order room service there was...
