The hotel is good even tho its only 2 star.We had here only breakfast because i think this hotel does not have a bigger kitchen for lunch and dinner.But it was okay i think. the rooms were nice with LCD small TV and they had really good temperature.The hotel is in the center so that is good and the best...

The Maden Hotel is 2 star but has everything needed for a comfortable stay in Amasya. The rooms are reasonably spacious with good clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast is fine .There are nice views from the front rooms of the rock tombs on the mountain across the river which are lit up at night. Being right in the...

We were given a choice of two rooms when we arrived at the Maden. One was a fairly small double room at the back where it was quieter, the other was a big suite at the front of the hotel over the main road, but with spectacular views of the mountains, the river and the Pontic tombs. I stayed at few other hotels in Amasya but , this is the hotel that I am going back year after year. I think location of the hotel , price of the room,quality of the breakfast and front desk personnel are very good. I will be staying in MADEN hotel years to come.

The rooms are spacious and clean with en suites, TV and frig. The front rooms of this hotel have nice views of the Pontic Rock Tombs and citadel especially at night when they are lit up. There is a lift. Rates in October 2010 were Single 50 TL and double 80TL. Includes breakfast.
